Find Your Voice...

On a different note,

There's something to be said for finding Your Voice. This can be viewed in various ways, all bearing weight and Impact within your life. We all have a voice, we all have influence and we all have an opportunity in this life to make a mark... we just have to choose it!
As a singer/songwriter, one of the most pivotal and challenging aspects of being an Original artist is finding your Voice... or finding your style. Who will I be as an artists? Rock, Country, Gospel, R&B, and so on... Am I gonna discuss relative topics, Love, personal views, having fun, or more deep and thought out topics? This part of an artist development can make or break their career. You can see the beginning of relative artists and the growth that transpired from their start to their now current style. And You can empathize with where they could of been versus where they are, just by the stylistic choices that were made. Choosing who You are going to be in the music world starts your path to success and productivity.
Which leads us to an even bigger aspect, which is personal development. Choosing who I AM in the world I live. You see we all have a Voice... the ability to influence those around us. And if given a platform (Art, Music, Leadership, Etc) we could have a large impact on the people we come in contact with... sometimes those we'll never meet. We are all conditioned to be opinionated, let's just lay that out in front. But choosing the projected influence a person has can be quite different. I can force an opinion, or stick to only MY views... or I can take a step back and be specific in my expressions. Similar to a singer/songwriter choosing their path, we all must make a decision on WHO we will be... which will have dire ramifications as far as the receiving of that Voice!
If we do Not choose our Voice wisely, we may never be heard! Or maybe Not heard by the ones that need to hear it! So many are inflexible and unwilling to change. This allows for no growth or development. And as I have spoken in many previous writings, there is a plan and a path laid out for us... IF we choose to seek, invest, sacrifice and follow! God has a plan... the Lord also laid out a road map... LOVE... Now I'm not saying You have to only write Love Songs, what I mean is choosing your influence... Positive or Adverse?
How you affect those around you with your influence and opinions... how You invest in the world around you with Love or hate? Anger or Grace? As an Artist, You can influence a generation, or you can spread angst for years to come. I am Not choosing your path for you, I am simply asking You make a conscious choice! Seek council... from your friends, family, producers, teachers, and find your spiritual foundation and stability... I can tell you 100% my success in life is based on my Faith and following the path the Lord created for me. I am still ME... but HE created ME! And as far as my style, I was willing to be honest, transparent, mold-able, teachable, and developed.
Find Your Voice and then You will have an Impact! Don't get caught up in being reactionary or a sheep to society! BE YOU on Purpose!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Signed At Last!

On a different note,

As You all know, I write about quality, investment and focus quite often. These are paramount aspects of success in all areas of your life. As many of you know, I have recently signed a deal with Spectra Records, the Top Independent Label in the World. WOW, what an honor!! They have an incredible artist/talent list that rivals many major organizations. It is an absolute honor to be part of this Amazing organization, and I look forward to working hard with and for them!

The reason I bring this up, is to shine a light on what realistically got me to this place. Depending on a persons Likes or Dis-Likes, we could take most famous artists and critique them harshly. Ok singer, average lyrics, and so on... Well, I would fall into this same boat! Meaning, there is Always going to be some one better, not saying we all aren't good enough to create music. The reason I bring this up is, if that is a known aspect of the Artist population, how do "I" set myself apart?

Quality and Hard Work typically are your differentiate-rs in this journey. There are producers out there to assist artist in development & inception. Example: I am NOT a producer, but I do have vision and the ability to write lyrics. I also have years IN music, teaching myself guitar & piano. That being said, I am NOT a producer!! So, my goal is to hire/work with the Best that fit into MY current situation! Another eye opener from a Quality perspective is the reality of bench marking your music. Who are You comparing it against? If You are thinking You want to get Signed, then You should be comparing against National Level Quality... Not local indie (Nothing against them)! Labels are thinking BIG picture... National & World Wide! Make sure Your Output/Product is Sell-able if You want to get signed, else keep making YOUR music & enjoying it!! Gotta Enjoy it!

The other side is the part most hate... the Business side! WORK! Hehehe! A LOT of work! This is YOUR business, so You better Own it! Everyday, Rise & Grind! But Not just busy work, but focused efforts! Are You finding opportunities, are You reaching fans, are you performing/crafting your style, and are You pushing the envelope to create a brand? Yo gotta ask yourself these questions! You gotta promote, sell, market, evaluate, analyze and Grow Your business! Takes a lot of looking in the mirror, transparency, and willingness to keep fighting when it seems hopeless!

Which brings me to my last aspect, but honestly for me... the Most pivotal! To Build anything, we need a solid foundation! For an artist, that means Faith, Family & Friends! I have Faith because it has been proven to Me! I pray daily about His path for my life, and that IF music is it I will work hard. But if it's Not, to re-direct my efforts! Now, It's not like I'm quitting music... It means, where is my focus? The Lord will provide you security, and be the one to open those doors No One could of seen! Trusting in His plan... Wasn't He the one who birthed Music in you to begin with? YES! Surround yourself with positive, like minded, supportive, loving, graceful, Honest people! They will inspire & encourage, and be truthful when You need feedback! We ALL need that!

There are so many aspects and things I had to learn on this journey. I have 12 years in music, and I mean working years! Managing, promoting, booking, networking, practicing, growing, etc... It takes time, but hard work, focus & Faith creates opportunity! I am blessed regardless of whether I "make it" and I AM making, performing, and earning with my music... I am thankful to be who & where I am! I trust the Lord has a plan for me, and as long as I give Him the Glory He can use it to better the lives of others!

BIG Thanks & Love to Spectra Records for having Faith in me, my product and my ability & willingness to work hard for the up coming album! I am Honored! Thanks to my Wife Joy who is my muse, my best friend and I could Not do it without her! My Friends & family who honestly inspire me daily by the Love they infuse in me! And Lord, this is Your path, I'm just walking it! THANK YOU! Thank You, please keep me focused on what is Important!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

One Step at a Time...

On a different note,

I can speak for myself, and say that I typically have multiple goals, objectives and mid-length goals happening simultaneously. And every so often I am reminded of truly focusing on the next steps placed right in front of me. It conceivably easy to set a long term goal, or to have a dream by which to shoot for... but without a first step in a specific direction, we would never get there!
Building a pyramid took a brick... a first one, a 600th one, but a group of individual pieces to accomplish the objective. The saying 'Rome wasn't built in a day" comes to mind... a reminder of a very important and over looked aspect of our day to day lives. We are so focused on the objective that we forget to plan, act and move in the direction of the actual goal. Would You agree this world is typically led by expectations? I would... and that sets us up for failure and hurt feelings. Definitely Not what our intentions were at the beginning...that is, to set out with a Great idea only to fail short.
Here's the cool part... by focusing on the steps at hand, we can accomplish a couple things at once. We can actually make an impact on the initiative... we can accomplish foundational steps, and set up future steps for success. If we do not prepare for the journey, if we do not plan for the challenges, risks, and milestones then how successful do we really think we can be? Example: Do I really think I can build a business with out a proven & marketable product? Do I have enough money to sustain the business for the first year? Will my business grow without building a customer base and advertising my proven product? Without a delivery method for my product, how will my customers even receive this amazing product? Do we think this process would be done in a few days? Planning and one step at a time gets you to a place of success!
The other side of this is the ever needed feeling of accomplishment!! Which is what will carry us through the hard times... the challenging times... the times we can't see the finish line. By focusing on the steps in front of us, we now can accept, handle and build on the dream that lays before us! It's the hidden component that gets lost in today's "I Want it Now" mentality!
I know this world is moving fast, and we are having to move at a pace that isn't typically comfortable just to keep up. It is a choice... a step... a decision to focus on what is relative & important! Peter stepped out of the boat, focused on what was in front of him (Jesus), and walked on water! SUCCESS! Only when he lost sight and took his eyes off the path did he sink. One day, One step, and One choice at a time... Set goals, plan for them, and act on them with confidence!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Language of the People...

On a different note,

Have you ever stopped to acknowledge the impact and necessity of communication within our day to day lives? How would a marriage work without it? How could friends stay close without it? How could we fulfill the requirements of our jobs without it? In this world of social media and technology, can we even fathom now a life without it? Direction comes from communication... and that comes from the physical & spiritual aspect of our lives. This could explain the impact of music, art, and expression in this world we live... Communication can be verbal, non-verbal and typically evokes some sort of emotion.
We listen to a Love song, and feel melancholy... We seen a vibrant abstract painting, and our mind begins to translate... we see a breath taking sunset, and we feel euphoric, and so on. The power of communication is one often left as a known instead of taken into consideration as a tool, a weapon, or a bridge for our personal usage. We Must choose to be communicative and How we will use it to accomplish our missions. Thinking about bullying, it is a form of communication which tears down the people around us. For various reasons, some people feel the need to communicate hate, judgement, and persecution, versus love, Grace and Inspiration. I believe it to be something we must be conscious of and take to heart, and even refine as we grow.
We are Not born great communicators... we must learn to talk, to learn a language of the people around us, and then how to express our own individuality. Never mind the listening & receiving side of it, as we all know the challenges we face in that area. But even in just being able to project our thoughts, ideas, sentiments, or even our needs,  wants and desires is not always quite so simple. Not sold on this? How many relationships end because two people aren't able to communicate their needs? How marriages fail because of a non-reciprocated dialogue? A lack of or inability to communicate will have vast affects on our world. Look at the new generations, who are tied to cell phones & texting, yet have no social skills or face to face communication abilities... think that might have an affect in their life?
So, if we must grow in this area or at least put effort forth, maybe we can start in the areas we Are comfortable in... Like art, music, faith, etc... They say "Speak in the language of the people"... So, who ever is important in your life, find out how they share information. Put some focus and effort towards the people who matter in your life... For me, my relationships are built of my emulation of a Godly relationship. Which is rooted in Love, Grace, Forgiveness, Mercy, trust, Respect, Inspiration, Adoration. Short Term memory, and so on... Imagine the world by those standards!?! Words can built up or tear down... they can encourage or hurt those receiving them... You have the choice, ability & opportunity to prosper your life through refining your communication skills! Me, I write, I sing, and I choose to be expressive with my words... What will your platform be?

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

The Formula...

On a different note,

One of the first amazing things I realized when I started living my life by Faith was that I didn't have to be perfect. I'm sure to many that would seem quite contrary! For most of us, we live or have lived for extended periods of time with guilt or shame...a very heavy, destructive and defeating way to go through life. When You spend time with the Lord, you realize all He is looking for is Your heart, Your focus, and You Love! Perfection is Not in the cards my friends... None of Us will ever meet that frivolous expectation!
What I also noticed and know now in my heart, is that this relationship example is to be mirrored and echoed in All areas of our life. Putting our hearts into it, Investing out true Love, and giving it complete focus!! Does that seem so hard? Well, as human beings it is much harder than we might think... thus we must make the conscious choice daily!!
As artists, in whatever medium You choose, imagine if You just put half your heart into it. Or should I say, by expecting any level of success & achievement how could we do that without pouring our hearts into it? How many relationships have you witnessed fall apart due to the lack of effort of one person? You must choose where to put your heart and commit to it... Singers, artists, parents, spouses, workers, etc...We cannot be successful with out commitment & focus on the path we are choosing!
Once have a path laid out before us, a plan or objective to accomplish, we must keep our eyes on that goal! Just like when Peter stepped out of the boat and took His eyes off Jesus, things will sink if we do not maintain & refresh our focus daily! If My dreams are speared to thin, the intensity, energy, focus are shared thus weakening all of them. This is part of our life planning... Where do I wanna be? What am I trying to accomplish? Lord, what plans do You have for me? Don't let the world distract you, don't let 'Keeping up with the Jones'" keep you from your goals!!
LOVE... Love is the glue that binds us! Love is grace, mercy, kindness, forgiveness, patience, selflessness, and many more... it changes the world we live, it transforms our hearts, it will be the aspect that sets us apart! Love comes from personal reflection... what is in our hearts? When we seek perfection, that is a personal view, thus introspective, and self-serving. If we are focused on the ME, I, US, We of any situation, then our focus, our Love, and our Hearts are only seeking internally. If we continue to look only at ourselves, we will live a lonely & empty life... and this will keep us from focusing on the outward effort at hand in achieving our goals! We can spend energy on inward expectations, or put our efforts towards moving in the direction of the things we know to be important! You see, perfection is not achievable, thus not worth wasting energy in hopes of it... Focus on what is fruitful, put your heart into the areas that will be bring true fulfillment, and make sure LOVE is your biggest & best attribute! The formula is clear, repeatable, and proven!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Love is...

On a different note,

As we venture through this life, we leave a wake behind us. Each of us with a purpose, with an impact, and with opportunity! We will endure trials & heartache but also the thrill of victories & fulfillment of completed goals... but there is not much which compares to the result of Love in our lives. Where would we be with out it?
We all grow up and probably become a little cynical as the dreams of youth get weighed down by the reality of adulthood. But that doesn't mean we need to stay there! As we mature and form our foundations in life, we must then begin to take ownership and make choices as to "Who" & "How" we want to live! We MUST choose to be a better man, a better woman, a better husband or wife, or parent... Life is a challenge, a journey, full of trials... some good and some not so good. but each creating the person we are to this day! But LOVE is what keep us moving... keeps us striving... and get us through those tough times!
Can we think of a larger characteristic in this world? One that has more of an impact on this life we live? We have generosity... rooted in Love! We have sacrifice... rooted in Love! We have relationships... rooted in Love! We have goals, objectives, dreams, passions... which are driven by love! So, even without realizing it... Love does propel this world we live... it does make the world go around!
We all need encouragement to prosper, we all need a support system to achieve the highest goals, and we all need the people around us to know how much they mean in our lives. You see, whether it is parenting, family, art, music, writing, ministry, marriages, etc... LOVE Must be at the core... actually, it IS at the core of healthy, flourishing, enriching, and fruitful endeavors... We just need to acknowledge it!
So, as You go about your day, everyday, be sure and reflect on this continually... it can change a situation instantly, it can renew a relationship over night, it can be the motivation you need to reach that next level of success! Being a man of Faith, I know where Love comes from... I also know it is in our DNA... we are born to seek & give LOVE. But we are also made of free will, thus we must choose it too!
We can get caught up in emotions, life, trials and such but never let yourself forget that You are Loved! You are special! You are vital to the world around you! Choosing LOVE will allow your impact to exceed all of our expectations! It is the life blood... and it can melt the hardest of hearts! Thanks for showing me Love by reading this letter... I hope it inspires you to do Great things!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Life of Harmony...

On a different note,

In music we consider "Harmony" a simultaneous combination of tones. In life we consider it a consistent, orderly, or pleasing arrangement of parts. Balance... If we are always subject to the reactions of this world, or only seeking to fulfill our own personal desires; we then become off balance. Is your life Harmonious and in balance?
It is normal and healthy to set personal goals. But we must all be conscious of the world we live, our choices, and how balanced our life is. Look around and You can see many people who are only focused on a single path. In that, we are closing off opportunities in 80% of our lives. We are missing out on life, and we are shielding ourselves from growth, fulfillment, fruitfulness and possibly prosperity. I remember some one asking me when I was in full time ministry "What are of Ministry did I think God had for Me?"... this of course was an easy answer... None! At the time I was doing Worship, Preaching, Writing Devotionals, etc... My response was that any given day the Lord could use me in any context He desired... My only goal, was to be willing!
But, year prior to that, all I wanted to do was Worship... I was a singer, I wanted to sing! But this kept me from truly growing spiritually... Self serving, even if for a positive objective of singing for the Lord! Now as a singer/songwriter/performer I must also keep my life in balance. If my only goal was to be famous, my life would be very empty... It would hurt those around me, it would close off doors in my life, and it would probably be filled with years of frustration, loneliness, and doubt. We must seek to take back control of our day to day choices!
God, Family, Work, Health, Rest, Fun, etc... We ALL must stop and evaluate... and we must do that periodically. This allows for a more balanced life. Example: Being healthy in general is much more than working out. If You are not strict on your diet, If You are not consistent in the Gym, if You are not getting rest, if You are sacrificing for the better good of your body, you are going to have a hard time. Shoot, even with all those things, it's still an uphill battle... is it not the same for life? Evaluating our choices, seeing the ramifications, or how it will affect all those in our life?
Harmonies in music are very pleasing to the ear... it is pleasant, joyous, and perfectly equal... Don't you want the same results for your life?

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Are You ready?

On a different note,

Because we so often look to the media, TV, & famous for our motivation, let's be honest and admit it skews our judgement. It forces us to set unrealistic goals, and to continuously feel inadequate or like failures. Not only is this unhealthy but are we really trying to keep up with the Kardashians?
We have moved to a get rich quick with less work mentality because of shows like American Idol or Survivor. And the funny thing is, they make us believe it is quick & easy, but that is far from the truth. Those shows are about as real as Sesame Street. So, in turn it makes us feel defeated... or worse we strive for the wrong things... Oh, If I'm prettier, If I sing better, If I dress more provocatively and so on... we think this will be our ticket. When in reality, having a talent or gift is only part of the equation. Talent without opportunity is a non factor! You could be the best singer in America, sing better than Katy Perry, but without an opportunity to prove that it doesn't matter!
Here's the thing, a reality show is not a sincere opportunity for most of us. They are looking to make money off the people on that show. So unless You exactly what they are looking for, it's not a True opportunity for most (12 seasons of American Idol = 12 winners... How many Million tried out?). Of course everyone's next question is... "Well then, how do I get a true opportunity?!?"
That is the million dollar question... and not a clear answer. BUT I will say this... We must create our own opportunity through focus, hard work, sacrifice, faith and confidence! This of it like this... Let's say with a lot of hard work we all get ONE opportunity... what if Your's was tomorrow? Are you prepared? Are you ready? That is a question most learn the hard way... You see, we must be honest, transparent and open with ourselves. Example: If you are an musician, then YOU very well might be The Product. Is your product compatible to the Best in Your Area of focus? Total package: Quality, Look, Packaging, Output, etc... How would we know?
You know by getting feedback, input, followers, supporters, reviews, etc... Being the best karaoke singer at a local bar doesn't make You Katy Perry, but it could be the start of an amazing journey! Not trying to scare You, just being a realist. Having some talent & having a dream equates to not much in the business world. If You are looking to create a career from your LOVE, then You must view as a business. Opportunity comes through work... waiting for the BIG break won't happen for 99.7% of us... so you better get moving!
I personally pray daily for the Lord's intercession... in any way He deems fruitful! I may want to sing for a living, but maybe that's just not where I am going to be best utilized! Be transparent with yourself, follow your dream, and be prepared for anything! ANYTHING! Your opportunity is coming, are You ready!?!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Confidently Believing...

On a different note,

I often catch certain words & phrases which either get taken out of context or used in the wrong manner in which to capture the true intent. Or certain things get associated with certain topics, and it elevates or decreases the value of the sentiment. The word "Believe" these days seems to primarily be associated with Faith... i.e. Religion. This is absolutely understandable... as it is used more often these days in that field... but why aren't we believing in each other these days? Have we become so cynical that we have lost any bit of trust in ourselves & others around us?
As a Believer, I can grasp the concept of believing. Having trust, faith, & hope in something. As we venture through this life, we choose path's and are then reflected in these choices. You so often hear me speak of "Living on Purpose", which partly speaks to living with belief. We should be committing to our choices & decisions, not just getting caught up in the world or being reactionary. This would in turn give us a sense of confidence. Whether anyone agree's or not, if You have made a thoughtful decision; You should stand by it. Let's take it a step further...
If I choose to invest time as a singer songwriter. I have chosen a path. I should then be confident in that choice, and believe in myself to accomplish or at least put effort, focus, time, and energy into it. Not being reliant on, but aiming towards an expected outcome... even if just the pure enjoyment. have You set your goals? Have you pondered quality? Have you researched or evaluated your plan against previously successful ventures? Are you working on growing that area of your life? If not, why did you choose this path? Are You confident you are willing to put in a sincere effort? Do You believe in this decision?
Example: When You choose a career, You are then expected to perform at a certain level. The job comes with requirements, objectives, compensation, etc... What would happen if you did half the effort? What would happen if you just gave up? What would be the outcome if You didn't believe in that position?
Now... use this in the loves you have in your life... Artists, musician, parent, husband or wife, and so on... You must believe in YOU! And then, by choosing to be That Person on Purpose, you must commit to that decision which brings confidence. Life is waiting on YOU! You can be someone of Belief... who changes the world they live in! Have Faith in the path made for YOU, Believe You can accomplish goals through effort, focus, sacrifice, and perseverance. Once you've take on this role & perspective, take action on your objectives! Let's not waste time on things we do not believe in... I believe in You! I am a man of Faith & Belief in the one Who carries the weight for me! In that I find confidence in His leading!
Let's go Live Life on Purpose!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

In Motion...

On a different note,

Ever notice the movement that happens all around us? The leaves blown, the sand disrupted, the clouds coming & going... We are in a world that is constantly changing, progressing, adapting, and flowing. I would imagine that's why we all appreciate the serenity of the Forrest or a vista view... as this world doesn't stop for very long. Every second flies by... We were made in motion!
I've heard many a quip/quote speaking to the continued learning, growing and progressing in life... stepping out in Faith. We are still learning... it doesn't end after childhood... New experiences, new paths, new objectives and so on. If our lives are constantly in motion, so instead of feeling over whelmed, instead of feeling behind, we should try and catch the wave! I look at it like a train... we can get on board or choose to miss out on life. Life is Happening whether we choose to enjoy it or not!
We have so many excuses for being scared, fearful, or intimidated by the Journey of life. Tired, broke, not smart enough, not as talented, and so on... It's a choice we ALL must make! There are children in poverty stricken countries who might eat once a day... have no money for the foreseeable future... Does that keep them from living? No, they make soccer balls out of any material they can find... running, laughing, and feeling the rewards of living this life we've been given! Maybe we're too caught up in the expectations instead of the actual experiences of life. We were put on this earth with opportunity & purpose! Why do so many choose to neglect, defer, and opt out of an opportunity to feel the joy of experiences.
You can be a painted, teacher, singer, artist, dancer, etc... Instead of thinking how long it might take, instead of being worried about what others think, instead of finding reasons Not to do it... Why not try it? Nothing ventured, nothing gained... Imagine being a fish, with no choice... You are born, you swim upstream to lay eggs and die... THAT'S IT! You have options, You have today, and You have endless opportunities. It's choosing to be in the game of life!!
I am Not perfect, I am Not the best at anything I do... yet, I find joy, happiness, fulfillment and seek out the opportunity to inspire, motivate, and affect the lives of those around me. Choosing to LIVE today... it may be my last!! God has a plan for me, and my only decision is whether I'm willing!
What have you neglected or regretted... what will you do with this time that is passing you by? READY, GO!

Good day, God Bless,
Chris

Ready for the World?

On a different note,

This week I am writing on perseverance, hard work, focus and the feeling of Victory! A feeling we all should experience and all have the opportunity to experience. Our lives are but a passing breathe, moments ticking by and we must choose how to use this time in any given moment. So, I ask, If we do not extend or push ourselves to new limits, how will we ever feel a true sense of success?
As a child, we are able to experience new things, new situations, and to learn & grow from these... and we are applauded as such! Small victories are plentiful! As we grow up, the opportunity for "Something New" becomes less prevalent. We are then challenged to come up with goals, objectives, dreams to spur ourselves to Achieve! We must find new paths in life to venture down in search of new horizons. The unfortunate side of this, is not everyone chooses to look or step outside the box. Thus, equating so a safe, mundane, simple, and typically easier life. Not a whole lot of Victory or feelings of success in this regard.
My father grew up with foster families, and was fortunate to seemingly always be around horses. They became his life and allowed him the opportunity to step outside the lonely and abusive world he lived. As he grew it became his career goal, temporarily derailed by Vietnam. Following 3 Purple hearts and time served, He started a 2nd career in Law Enforcement... but horses were never that far away. I remember he worked nights as a police officer, and then worked days on the farm. He took naps when he could, slept on off nights, but never sacrificing that time on His dream. I also remember Him saying to my brother and I, that he was gonna be the best in the World! And we believed Him! He had a fire, drive, and focus I've hardly seen in anyone else I've met. His love for horses never waned, it never faded... why? Cause He constantly invested & sacrificed for it!
Horses did become His primary career and he built a nationwide reputation in the horse world. Training, driving, judging, mentoring, and always giving himself to others... but giving Himself in the area closest to his heart! This weekend he competed in the FEI World Para Equestrian Driving Championship... World Cup of Horse Driving... Invitation Only! Representing the USA, a country He proudly served years prior, again but in the area he so cherish and strives for! Team USA took the Bronze, but my Dad Bob Giles took the overall Silver!! At 67 years old... a dream probably 50 years in the making had become reality! There are Not many words to describe my adoration, pride, excitement, and I can only imagine how He feels! AMAZING!
I share this story, as we ALL have dreams, goals, and the opportunity to feel the sweet taste of Victory! How many of us are willing or able to hold on for 50 years? How about 10? 5? Anything of worth takes time, sacrifice, loss, commitment, focus, drive, perseverance, faith, and LOVE & SUPPORT from All those around You!
I personally already thought he was one of the best in the world... Now everyone else does too!

Good day and God Bless,
Chris

I AM ME!

On a different note,

Has anyone else noticed how hard it is not to compare ourselves to The Jones'?! Sadly, based on media, society, and then our upbringing we are thrust into the role of "Am I Good enough?". This becomes a deterring agent, distraction, and defeating weight that will keep us from being the Best we can be! As we walk through this life, hopefully we are seeing the path's of others, and how different they are compared to our own. Look at siblings, and how drastically different they typically are... that in itself is a perfect example of Each of us walking a road made specifically for Us!
We ALL have to account for the "ME" part of our life... meaning, we cannot blame others continually and expect to reach new heights in our life. I will never be Keith Urban, I will never be Tom Brady, so I must wake up each day and ask God for the clarity, strength, opportunity and vision to find My Path! Then I must step out in the effort of finding My worth, value, and mission!
As a singer songwriter, I must compare myself to others in my field as a baseline or benchmark for quality purposes. I can even research & analyze in hopes of learning and leveraging experiences for my journey. The extent of our comparison becomes evident when we begin to feel down, angry, frustrated, worthless, or having those feelings keep us from progressing in our walk. That's when a Light bulb should go off for us... There is Nothing healthy in that regard. For me, I pray for God's hand in my decisions, that I might be re-directed if I am heading in the wrong direction. If I dictate to God what I will do in life, chances are I will run into roadblocks... NOT HURDLES, but roadblocks... Are You willing to give it up? Are You willing to be redirected? I am... if a plan for my success lies elsewhere, why would I choose to stay living in defeat?
We must stop living in the expectations of the World, but finding completion, victory, solace, happiness, and fulfillment in the path made for us! AND... Let's Not keep God in a box either... there might be many things we find success in, as long as He is the one leading! I couldn't begin to tell you the incredible things I have been part of by letting God lead! He uses me in the context of His need & my willingness! Let me say that again... His Plan & My Willingness to follow! At that point, watch out!! We now have the Power of our Creator opening doors!
I am no longer defined by the circumstances, titles, or even worldly success I might experience... I find my worth spiritually, knowing why I am where I am! God brought me into music, He provides me opportunity, inspires me to drive hard to new heights! I still get my feelings hurt in comparing myself, but it is short lived. I AM ME! I can be No other! I am the best Me I can be right now... took me Years to get this way... Guess what, He's Not done with me! LOVE You, and make choice, changes, decisions each day to become better and to follow the plan made for YOU!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

One of a Kind...

On a different note,

As a singer/songwriter, I leverage my life experiences  to create stories, songs, hooks, etc... If You are an artist, songwriter, pastor, parent, etc. you should also be looking to leverage your life experiences in your day to day lives. It is the individual journey that makes us who we are, also those experiences that allow us the opportunity to bring a different perspective and find our role in the world. We are put on this earth with worth, for a reason, and with a voice & responsibility... How many brush this off or never feel the fulfillment in using our influence?
So often we rush through life, wanting to suppress our past instead of learning, growing, and using those experiences to bring wisdom, truth, hope, insight and perspective to the world around us. My life experiences are on of a kind, never to be compared or repeated, thus I can bring a combination of life lessons that no one else can... As can You! Think about that... we might share 30% of similar experiences, but never will a combination be duplicated. Starting from our childhood, growing into our personal struggles, victories, successes & failures... we are One of a Kind!!
What influence can I bring? What wisdom can I impart? What voice do I choose to use? As we know, we can Lift others up or Tear others down... But doesn't it go even deeper? We are put on this earth for a reason... are we seeking that out? If we just coast through life, how can we expect to feel fulfillment or worth? As an example... we have teachers, who spend as much time with our children as we do... Imagine the indirect, direct, or unknowing influence they will have? How many songs have been written that express hate? Do we not think that will have an affect? We speak words that can create change in the world we live... how will you influence the people in your life?
As you know, I tend to ask rhetorical questions... and in reality, we all must ask ourselves these very questions... one that takes time, reflection, spiritual contemplation, and then action... I bring you this as a positive opportunity for us all to make a choice! Choose Love, and watch it flourish around you! You are One of a Kind!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Create Your Dream Team...

On a different note,

As we grow up we tend to become a bit self reliant... We determine a singular path to reach our goals on our own personal Journey. Sometimes we even detach ourselves as we become more focused in the progression of these dreams, or possibly view the rest as competition. Either way, it can become a lonely road and could even be closing off doors to new heights or paths for our specific development!
Spiritually we realize it is our carnal nature that could lead us to a place of separation... Meaning we can stay in a place of self serving, thus focused on our personal objectives or what we'll need to do versus a reliance on others around us. But do we really believe we can go through life on our own? Can we achieve our dreams without support, encouragement, investment, love, grace, opportunity or growth?
Scripture speaks of Iron sharpening Iron, thus people finding support, accountability, shared insight & learning's for the better good of the body. Meaning, we lean on each other to create a stronger opportunity for success. This spiritual concept speaks to people helping people, it speaks to roles & responsibility, it also speaks to a level of honesty, transparency & vulnerability. All of which we will need in order to develop and prosper on our journey!
Look at it as collaboration, the creation of relationships which could be paramount for the accomplishing of our goals. We All have gifts... We are All different... So why wouldn't we leverage the experts in areas outside of ours? Or, wouldn't it be prudent to rely on the wisdom of others who have traveled the same road before us? Pride can be a very lonely road...
Surround yourself with solid, loving, encouraging, experienced and strong people... creating a dream team that are of like mind!! Or leverage persons in your midst that can mentor you... providing feedback & input that could elevate your game and/or progress your goals!
I think we can all empathize with protecting our dreams... but we must also be willing to put aside our defensive natures in order to let others lift up, invest and be included in our leaps of Faith! We cannot do it ALL, we cannot do it alone, and we must make the effort in order to receive intercession. Isn't that journey going to be much more enjoyable with others standing by your side?

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

The Voice Audition...

On a different note,

Well, I decided to audition for the Voice this year, and in all honesty I went in trying to put aside any expectations... but also truly believing I had something to bring to the table. I mean, it is a singing show... But it's bigger than that... It's a TV show... thus lead by money & ratings!! But for those of you who have seen my live show, I definitely could liven up a LIVE broadcast!
My wife was such an Amazing supporter & encourager... She did not want me to regret Not trying... LOVE HER!! So we started planning... determined our best course of travel based on audition locations. We chose New Orleans as we could drive there for half the cost of flying. We then booked a car rental, then a hotel accounting for where the actual location of the audition would be... Seriously factored in walking if needed!! I've learned from previous adventures to account for as many possible obstacles as possible. Don't let some crazy, odd, random act get in the way of a dream Your planing on shooting for!
We left the day prior from Florida, and we were so looking forward to having hours together on the road... quiet, alone, special, & private time... We realize this is the foundation of our marriage... Focus! SO, even though there was a BIG audition sprinkled in this venture, we looked at it as an opportunity to have a wknd away in a cool city to celebrate our love! This comes down to keep things in perspective... the Voice... 1 in a Million chance... My marriage is here, Now, a gift from God... So, You better believe it takes precedence and is a priority!
So, we enjoyed our ride up... was fun, we took pictures, laughed, cried, and cherished each second! And the next morning we woke up with a focus of stepping out in Faith and giving this audition a shot! I have to acknowledge the INCREDIBLE support I received from my friends & family... Honestly, there are no words! My social media sites were Blowing up with LOVE from my peeps!! HOLLA!!
Ok, the audition... it was raining, someone stole our cab, we forgot some of the clothes I was gonna wear, so it was a frustrating morning... BUT, we got there... the line looked half a mile long... Wished we would of went 30 or 45 mins earlier... the day was pretty much being moved from one waiting station to another... the entire process took about 5 hours. The final stage was being broken into groups of 10 contestants. then You are brought into a room with a producer and each one given approximately 30 secs to sing. It was comfortable in a group that size for some new singers, and was encouraging as we clapped before & after each song. Of the 10 in my group at least 6 of us had obvious singing ability. Very cool styles, levels, songs etc... Was a nice experience! The producer was positive, and cut to the chase. "The bar is set high, we have a lot of singers to listen to, so here we go"... He kept 1 of the 10, not me unfortunately. But the one he chose was very talented and actually had experience in these auditions... was not his first time. He also did a great job of arranging His song and making it His own... Bravo! For me, I went in with a thought of choosing a style and owning it... I went the Rocker route, and it seems that was not what they were looking for... sigh!
Needless to say I was disappointed, frustrated and defensive at first... but I also wasn't overly surprised... I realize this is a business, there are Organizations that have a lot of money & vested interest. BUT I did it... I stepped out to allow God to move or not... We cannot expect results unless we make an effort!
My wife and I made the best of our weekend, and went out that day and enjoyed the incredible city that is Nawlins!! hehehe!! So, all in all, this will be an experience I relive forever.. it will change me as an artist, as we all need to realize it is a business when You decide to making singing/music your career. We will not win them all, it's not for everyone... think about it... of the ten of thousands who audition... only 1 winner... Like winning the lottery! You CAN make it, You can make it without being on a reality show! Put everything you got in it, or put that energy somewhere else! And surround yourselves with incredible, loving, encouraging, supportive & positive people... then You always win!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Product Definition...

On a different note,

Once I decided to actually begin recording my writings, part of my approach towards a songwriting career was based on years of business & management experience. I tried to keep a balanced perspective and incorporate a quality aspect into my art. When running a business, You first must determine a product, vision and scope. Meaning, what is the goal of the endeavor? What is the end result?
Once You have determined your Product (i.e. Indie Artist, Song Writer, Singer, Sales, Getting Signed, etc) you can begin to define it's parameters... This is where you can separate yourself! Knowing your product, doing comparative research and having a realistic understanding of what it means to be at the Top of the food chain. It's being realistic with ourselves on what we'll need to do to be competitive! And let's be honest, when it comes to music, art, or most creative genre's, there is MUCH competition... so, how will you gain the fan base or attention of your consumers if you do not raise the bar or at least maintain a higher quality? You won't!
Now remember, this pertains to those who have higher goals & expectations. I know people who truly just desire to enjoy music and maintaining a garage band is more than fulfilling... Art is ART, thus personal reflection, perspective and expression is foundational. I'm speaking to those with hopes of sharing their product to the masses!
There will be various ways to validate the level of quality, but this message was more for the understanding of what it will take to put yourself on the map. With the opportunity social media presents, it's easy to gauge our current state... how do we currently fair against whats popular now? Do our songs, pictures, video's, pieces, etc. compare? How is our over all production? Social media presence? And so on... It's taking the fervor we have for our Art and balancing it with personal transparency in regards to the viability of commercial success.
Define your mission/vision, what that means in regards to the end result, how you will approach creating a worthy product, and then work on a plan to make it reality! Since You own it, it's Your art, don't leave it up to chance!! Put your best effort & quality forward!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Enjoy the Ride...

On a different note,

I'm hoping we all take the time to look back over our lives to see the path... the trail... the learning's... and the Glory of the journey we've been on. No matter how similar we are, our Journey has been filled with moments, trials, & victories that have made us who we are today... for Me, I know my path is divine... or at least the in last 10 to 15 years. I guess in theory, without knowing, I was living the first have of my live selfishly. Meaning, I was only responsible for ME... and I made decisions accordingly. This changed when I was so sincerely & graciously brought to my knees... Suddenly, life took on a new direction!
As a kid growing up in the sticks... the woods/farms of Maine, there was always something new to be found. My brother and I would venture off... finding anything from boats to abandoned cabins. Isn't life similar? If we are open to it, if we are looking for it... Life is full of New findings, New adventures, something New around every corner... But it really comes down to the focus... What is our focus?
If I approach my path through this Forrest (Life) with My personal direction.. My Path... then I tend to be a little more focused on the end result... A to Z... Direct shot... Focus on the existing trail. But, what happens when we venture out without a personal vendetta, but seeking a path... following a path changing at every step... just enjoying the ride... We can see the beauty of whats going on around us. We can actually enjoy the Journey!
Life can take on a life of it's own... hehehe... Meaning, we can end up being reactionary, thus pressured, weighted, or caught up... Or we can let go of the weight of it, knowing this Journey is one of reflection, love, faith & hope... an entirely new perspective!
Make sure you take the time to enjoy the ride... taking the time to see the path before you... If we are not watching we can end up off track... I will seek the path that was created exclusively for me, thus living by Faith... expecting divine intervention... looking back and reliving the Glory of a Journey blessed with things I never would of seen otherwise!

Good Day & God Bless,
Chris

Live outside of Fear...

On a different note,

If we are willing to truly stop and recognize the signs, we can see patterns... we can see similarities in the world we live. As an example, when we live in Fear... or if we live a life of selfishness... or if we choose to live in anger or defensiveness... We are choosing to live in the dark! Allow me to clarify this a lil more...
When we do things that we subconsciously know to be wrong, or against our very nature, we tend to do it in secrecy. Which would be keep others in the dark... or us maneuvering in the dark... in the shadows... meaning, we cannot be forthright in our plans. If My goal is to be rich, at the expense of others... I probably wouldn't broadcast that... I'd keep my personal goal internal... again, in the dark. When I choose to be self focused, i.e. "Me against the World", then I am choosing to be defensive... to fight... Not much positive in that scenario... When I choose to be worried, scared, or consumed by the circumstances of this world... I then retract, again taking on a defensive stance... ok, so those are some examples to get us all on the same page... what is the opposite?  Living in the Light...
Being in the light... transparent... of positive energy... Life takes on an entirely different perspective and outlook. If I am willing to put others first, If I am living a life without hidden agenda's, and if I am living a life of Love & Hope... My entire demeanor changes! My circumstances change, which are also catalysts to the on going ripples in my life. You see... our choice of how we operate, how we choose to perceive or how we project in the world we live has vast affects on our quality of life!
I will tell you that this way of thinking is not always an easy road... life is full of ups & downs... And for me, until I knew the Lord intimately, it was Very hard to keep on the positive side of things. But I now live by Faith... meaning, I KNOW I am seeking HIS path, thus He is in control... It's His plan, not mine!
I often speak of self reflection... Only You & God can sit and determine your course of action... But to decline yourself the opportunity to make the changes will only prolong living by circumstances... and I think we all can agree, that living day to day is fruitless.
Live with a positive outlook, not waiting on others... or putting expectations on others... Live by LOVE, because YOU will get it back over & over... Choose to avoid living in secrecy, in lies, in darkness...

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Come to Jesus Moment...

On a different note,

There is a typical scenario I think of when discussing being a believer or a non-believer. It's really just a simple example of our innate knowledge of who we are, who is our creator, and how certain things are breed into our DNA. I think most would agree we have a breed in knowledge of right & wrong... meaning, even prior to being taught everything as a child we tend to know when were doing something we aren't supposed to or for the wrong reason... Of course so people may not have it as strong... So, here's my scenario: We're all believers when we're hanging off the side of a cliff by our finger tips! Meaning, when put in a life or death situation, who do we call out to?
We probably aren't calling the Police, or our mothers in that moment. Realistically, we are looking for a miracle, a savior, and someone who has the ability to provide a divine intervention! There are more examples, but to me that one really does put it into perspective. As You know, I am not trying to force any one to believe, or "make them" address their spiritual foundation... but I definitely desire us all to keep perspective and hold ourselves accountable to our health & wellness. If Your spiritual world is in disarray, then for sure the rest of your world will probably be a following suit most often.
I've been asked why do I think most people wait til they hit bottom to seek out the Lord. I will say, I have first hand experience in that! And I am honestly Not surprised by this revelation. We are not only born knowing Right & Wrong, Knowing our creator, but we are born into this world selfish... prideful... carnal... So, as we live our lives for the big ole "ME ME ME", we are then unwilling to conform so easily to a selfless way of life. Makes absolute sense to me... Why would I want to give up my control... My fulfillment... and the "Do what I want" lifestyle unless I had to?
I stand before you a changed man, one who fought giving my life to the Lord for many years. But once I did, my life was changed drastically, and definitely for the better. Of course the first few years were hard... having to learn to put God first... and others second... went against my desires. But like most others, I did have my "Come to Jesus" moment! I had lost everything, and was then given no options but to call out to Him! and wouldn't ya know... THANKFULLY... He answered!
Don't feel bad or be concerned if You have a similar story... I will tell You "pride" is the last thing You'll need in your spiritual walk... We are ALL sinners, meaning we all have issues... NONE of us are perfect!! So, it's no contest, it's not about who's better or worse... it's about us ALL getting to a spiritual place of transparency & honesty!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Go to the Well...

On a different note,

I know it's Not always funny when God rocks the boat, but I will say I do find some humor in the fact that I have seen first hand how God deals with complacency. He does not desire us to get too comfortable, too ritualistic... Meaning, if our Faith is not being maintained, He'll make sure to give us a bump in the road to remind us of our need, dependency and focus. I'm sure some might take offense to that, but I personally am thankful for it!
My life is as busy as anyone's, and I do make an effort to create intimacy with the Lord, but for me routine is one of the ways I can stay productive. But I also in the back of my mind I ponder the day to day, and whether or Not I am getting too comfortable. We are on this earth for a short amount of time, so for us to be fruit & useful, we really can't afford to waste too much time! I consider myself a living example of God's Love! He has used me in scenario's I had no business being in... But, it was the acknowledgement that it was Not about Me! It was His Love, His Grace, His power, and so on... All I had to do is be willing!
I hope You see that within my writings I do try to be honest, open and transparent... I do not claim life or Faith to be easy! But I do say that letting Go is a very freeing experience! As we go through life we will endure trials & valleys, so it is the circumstances and How we deal with it that will shape us. I would never expect someone to endure a trial perfectly... as we are Not perfect! But I would encourage that person to keep the faith, remembering the times past... previous valleys... and that the Lord was there... providing, comforting, and typically redirecting to an even more fruitful path.
I'll be honest, I pray daily for things that most would find scary or unsettling. I pray for opportunity, I pray for redirection, I pray for His hand & intercession in my life, and I state that I am willing to give it all up for Him... I do not take those plights lightly, nor do I say them in a "mater of fact" way... I trust the Lord with my life... He has Always taken care of me, and made my life fruitful & worthy as long as I kept Him #1 in my life!
We WILL endure, Life does Go on, but it is our Faith that keep us grounded and steady. There is Nothing stable, lasting on this earth... Only the LOVE & Presence of our Creator! Find truth, solace, and comfort in that, and Go to that well for nourishment!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Dream Weaver...

On a different note,

Not to start off too morbid, but time is something we cannot depend on... tomorrow is Not promised, and every second of our life is ticking by... so, I ask "What are You doing with it?!"... The reason I propose this question is that a lot of us get caught up in the rituals, complacency and comfort-ability of life... we become reactionary. We probably do not set many goals, and if we do they are realistically over simplified or super easy to accomplish... and even in that, we are probably "ok" if they do not get met. Is this really where we wanna be? Is this really the life God had intended for us? Is this the best we can do?
I personally ask myself these types of questions constantly. I am Not "Ok" with average, and I for sure do not believe God put me on this green earth to blend in with a crowd. One of the things my Faith does for me is give me a sense of worth... meaning, I know I have a purpose! And, I know I seek & follow my Savior is just happens to be my provider & protector! Thus, as long as I am striving to bring positive change to this world, He's going to support it, or re-direct it! See, I am driving towards goals that are in line with His will... What is His will you ask? To Love one another, to Seek Him out and share His Love with the world! He is Number 1 in my life... Does that seem unrealistic?
As we grow our relationship with Him, and make Him the priority we then open the doors for His intercession... Yes, exactly!! HE... The Creator Now has a vested interest in Your Goals (Cause You work for Him)! So, we better first stop and check ourselves & our goals... hehehe... Let's see, My goal is world domination and ultimate money & power... (Insert game show buzzer sound)... FAIL! My goal is to create/perform music and share Love & Happiness with the world!! Ah ha... now we're getting somewhere!
This world is made up of people who have skills, gifts, talents, and experiences that all vary... BUT, we are ALL created equal! So, why can't should I preclude myself from setting goals & dreams? Am I not worthy? Or is it I am not willing to step out of my box? Or maybe I need to grow my faith a lil more before I step out of the boat... This LIFE is already happening... Right now! Get your footing (Spiritual grounding), Find your balance (Physical, Mental Emotional, Spiritual), Look Up (Set Your goals), and Jump for those stars (Follow Your plan to reach Your objectives)!!
I KNOW there is a plan for me... I know that if I am WILLING to step out of my boat in Faith, that God will continue to use me! WE are our own hindrance, WE are our own worst critic, WE allow the world to dictate our future... STOP living for the world, and reach for the Heavens!! You don't have to do it alone!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Reality Check...

On a different note,

Today I will speak from a personal and introspective perspective... who knows, maybe others have felt this way or still feel this way. I hear so much about success, how to find it... or create it... or whatever. I so appreciate the "You" movement in motivation, I really do, but I think it creates a false sense of reality at times. We glamorize certain things in life and then try make it look so easy... when in all actuality, it is Not that easy for most. I can remember years of frustration in my early adult years... Really because of a false sense of reality & false sense of entitlement. I felt I was set up for failure. Constant disappointment... but even in that comes some victories, some accomplishments, and in that is where I should seek my fulfillment.
Not everyone will be President, Not everyone is cut out to be a pilot, Not everyone will be on American Idol... So, the area of Goal setting I believe we divert at times is the "Realistic" part... We must set achievable goals... well, how does one do that? Facts... If I am trying to lose 150 lbs... I'd better do my research... I'd better be prepared to sacrifice EVERY day for my goal! And I better meticulously document, plan out and enact such goals... You see, we all typically set unrealistic goals, oh and expect them in a short amount of time... And that is where disappointment, failure, doubt comes in!
Example: I am continually doing vocal exercises, trying to expand my range, increase control, and such... I remember desiring to learn how to use my Falsetto voice. At the beginning it was so foreign, that it only frustrated me... I found some exercise after that, and began the process of teaching my vocal muscles to do it. I can tell you I am still refining and honing it in after prob 3 years of exercises. YEARS of daily exercises to perform one small task. So, I set a goal, I did the research and found exercises, I committed to the Long haul, and put Years of daily work in to it... What did I earn? Success! Allow me to give you the alternative... I played football for many years... worked VERY hard, and almost made the NFL... But looking back, I'm not sure I did the right things to truly put me in a place of victory. I thought Just desiring it, and putting hours in was enough... In reality, I wasn't doing the right things, I wasn't investing enough, AND I probably should of realized my peak potential many years in to it... Either way, I did not meet my goal... Lack of a plan, lack of defined investment, lack of transparency and honesty on my part...
I cannot define what YOU will be successful at, but I do know it is going to take a plan. Success does not happen by chance, goals aren't met by entitlement. You know the saying "If it was easy, everyone would be doing it"... I hope this does not come across as negative, but as a gut check... and opportunity to regroup, refocus, and recommit to Your dreams! Please look up the definition of "S.M.A.R.T" goals... Use Your time, money, effort, & energy wisely!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Fear Factor...

On a different note,

Did you know that one of the biggest catalysts in life is Fear? The hard part is learning to decipher fear, and use it to your advantage, versus a reason to give up or run from trials. Fear truly seems to be a recognition, one of clarity, one that ponders the severity of a given situation. The dictionary calls it "Apprehension" or a an emotion led by impending pain or danger. Hopefully we've all learned over the course of our lives, we should not be led by our emotions. So, maybe we need to analysis the strength of fear in our lives and make sure we're not allowing it to control our decision!
I have been very fortunate to live a life full of experiences, and in all honesty there were times I was fearful... I was not always the dare devil, go getter, and "try anything once" kind of guy. Learning to over come fear takes time, just like learning to ride a bike, or learning to have a positive attitude. We must be willing to face these things with honesty, vulnerability, and transparency! This is going to help US get out of this box we live, and truly experience LIFE in all its glory.
Last night Joy & I were fortunate enough to take on the experience of Trapeze work... just for a few hours. Climbing the skinny later, to a very small platform, and then hanging over the side trusting the cables, trusting the guy holding You, until you step of in a leap of faith... People that are led by fear might have a hard time experiencing something of this caliber... If you break down fear, it's typically rooted in a sense of losing control. The Unknown! I would agree we ALL need to be careful, and make healthy decisions. But how many things have we avoided, ran from, or denied based on a fear of losing that control in our life?
Faith in itself is relatively intangible, meaning it's not something you can touch. It is something I have to step out of my box, and trust in the Lord to guide, protect and provide for me... I take a leap of faith! And Yes, it was a progression... I did not jump head first in without hesitation, weariness, awareness, or without doubt... But the fact is, I did take that step! Just like I did jumping out of an air plane in the Army, just like I did getting up on that trapeze, just like I do riding my Harley... My lack of control did not keep me from seeking Spiritual fulfillment... from my blessings, my salvation... and to be honest, the fear of being wrong about my Faith was one of the catalysts that inspired me to seek the Lord. Trusting Him, and not letting my fear of Not knowing get in the way of Knowing!
Fear is a very powerful emotion... We can let it lead us, and miss out on some incredible experiences, and possibly even a relationship with our Creator. Or we can be willing to step out of our box, and give life a try! How many successful people do you know who didn't have to take a leap of faith? Who didn't have to circumvent Fear in order to reach new heights?

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Communication is Key...

On a different note,

I'm not sure how much I have written in the past on communication, but I hope it was a lot! It truly is the key and a foundational characteristic we should ALL look to grow. I don't care if it is work, friendships, marriages, children, or any other interpersonal relationship... it will Not flourish without communication!
The interesting thing is, there are certain aspects of communication that will carry weight, and truly make the difference when it comes to the depth of intimacy. Since most of the world lives with fear & doubt, we encounter emotional walls in our surface level relationships. People are too scared to be honest, or even to be willing to listen to the heavy stuff. So, this only provides a shallow level of openness. It's like teasing a dog with a throw toy... Talking a good game, but not really committing to the act. Commitment & Dedication do not have a 50% level... ALL or nothing!
Look at it like this... If You run a company and You are reliant on your customers to survive. Your company would Not exist without the customers end of the interaction. How long would You stay in business if You didn't ask your customers for feedback? Or if You even factored in their needs at all? And how fruitful would you be if You didn't take that feedback and their requirements to heart? Like that business, if You do not engage your relationships in a reciprocal manner, it will not survive!
We are self serving, thus this level of communication takes effort, practice and focus. And in all honesty, I wasn't able to live in this manner until it was shown & proven to me! I learned to be transparent, open, honest, vulnerable in my walk with the Lord... I had to be willing to bring EVERYTHING to Him... Own my stuff, and be honest about it. I had to learn to be forthright, in spite of how hard it might of been. I also had to stop & listen... That allowed me to truly know Him, to truly receive understand & revelation, thus equating to an intimate, reciprocating, fruitful, and loving relationship. I had to fight the desire to retract, self serve, and put the relationship above my fears and unwillingness to be vulnerable to someone I cared for.
I stand before You a man who is not great at this, or many other things... but one who puts for effort, desire, and takes the time to try and live a healthier life. I put value in things that are fruitful... My friends, family, the Lord, my job, home and my Amazing wife! I can look back and see the wake of pride in my younger years... living just for me! Relationships are key to our Journey... we should choose wisely, and then invest, commit, and sacrifice for their growth!
Communication will change all facets of our lives if we commit to it... Living in the "Know" and engaging our loved ones on a level that provides grace, love and blessings!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Seek Inspiration...

On a different note,

I wonder what the difference is between people who are self motivated or those who require external stimulus? Maybe it's just having the desire to seek it out, or sit back and wait for it. Either way, I think we can all agree that all of us require inspiration periodically. I think other wise, we get lost in the complacency of life... the mundane... a routine which can get us in the reactive versus proactive... or possibly stunt much growth in general. I think we can all recall seeing things in our lifetime that were beyond comprehension within a day to day life... Imagine if someone wasn't inspired to send a rocket to the moon? Imagine if no one thought electronic messaging was a good idea? Imagine if Kelly Clarkson didn't try out for American Idol?
To achieve new heights or to fulfill our destiny's, we must be willing to step out and take a leap of Faith. That is going to take some type of inspiration! Whether it's the Lords hand gently guiding us, instilling a feeling of confidence... or maybe a family member encouraging us to push through our personal challenges to show the world our true capabilities... Life is full of ups & downs... mountains & valley's... Success & failure... Yes & No's... So remember to keep that as a constant. So, it's how we maneuver, deal with, and persevere through these fluctuating times that will define us!
I believe in the power of prayer for multiple reasons... first & foremost is God listens! We may not always get Our way, but He hears! Our Faith provides us Hope... ergo, things expected! That in itself can provide motivation, strength, and confidence! It also allows us the chance to focus, unify, and seek that spark of inspiration in a situation. If we are Not seeking in life, then we are running blind... We should be seeking opportunities, we should be seeking our Spiritual foundation & path, and we should also be finding those glimmers of Hope, Love, Intercession and Inspiration!
This message today was started by my thinking of my life... and how some days I just don't want to do it... And how God knows exactly what I need and any given moment! And even if it's only 10% of the time, He inspires me in those mellow times... He'll have my Wife share words of hope & faith... He'll send a message from a dear friend, that lights a fire in my heart... But always knows what I need! I feel God uses me to inspire at times, He uses me for many tasks and I've always found such security in that! You see, if we seek opportunity, seek inspiration, and seek a path, we will find it! Admitting our need for intercession does not make us weak or stupid, but quite the opposite! I am but one, but WE can move mountains!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Just a moment...

On a different note,

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending an event my wife was involved with built around art, music and giving back to the kids in our community. It was an incredible event... truly encouraging expression, hard work, giving back and unity. These events happen on different scales, but all with the same intent. Selflessness... I am always amazed at the willingness to lift others up at these events, from the host, the artist and even the sound guy. It allows people an opportunity to sacrifice, invest, and donate their time, talents & treasures, and imagine the impact it will have on the children involved. As parents we have the opportunity to provide those "ah Ha" moments with our children, possibly changing the course of their lives!
I remember being a boy first playing pee wee football, and it was way outside of the norm for me. Learning a new sport, having to practice, and having to be part of a team... sharing, one focus, one goal, unity... Like these kids yesterday, I'm sure not every day was glamorous or exciting... it is work to invest in something, even if it is something you Love to do. I remember football being a burden at times, questioning whether it was the right place for me. Or whether I truly wanted to commit to the hours & focus it required. And then it happened... one of those pivotal moments. It was 8th grade, coach Poulin used me as the example in front of the entire team. I wasn't very big, I probably wasn't the fastest at that point, but he said I had Heart! He said everyone on this team should be playing with this much heart & effort! That set the course for years to come... Like the youth that played classical piano at this event yesterday... on stage... ovations... from 5 to 12 yrs old... What a Joyous occasion!
Life is but a series of moments they say... some god, some not so good, but I find such gratitude in the little things... these mountain top moments, that truly can redirect, replenish, and rejuvenate! My wife, who until just a few years ago had never leveraged Her skill & gift, was not front and center... one of 11 piano's on that stage! Being congratulated by other artists, being adored by the crowd, and even having it being a center piece for a musical event that could change the course of a young persons life... So often we forget these moments... so often we forget the power of a split second... and so often we forget the power, weight, impact of a gesture!
I continually implore people to do things on purpose, to encourage, inspire & invest in others, why? For these reason... We can be the hand God uses to change the course of someones life. We can be God's catalyst to push someone else to the top of a Mountain... even if just for a moment! Just a moment!

p.s. So proud of My Wife, not sure she realizes the impact she has in the world around her!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Show Your Heart...

On a different note,

As one who grew up on a farm, I have a different appreciation for animals. I can empathize with certain aspects of their lives, and appreciate the sincerity & transparency in their behavior. Meaning, they are very literal and do things on purpose... If they are angry, the growl, if they are happy they wag their tail and such. But even in this, the biggest challenge in raising animals is their inability to communicate as openly & descriptive as we do. This of course can create situations that are not fruitful for either side of the equation. If a wild animal is scared, we might take it as angry... or worse off, the opposite... We've all seen the video's when animals go bad. I personally believe they were mis-understood and were put in positions to defend themselves. But again... we'll never know!
The learning from this for us is, that life tends to be dictated by the reflection, expression and feelings of the heart! Our intent, Our focus, and our action are typically led by our heart. This of course is not always a bad things, but it does deserve some discussion. You see, the reason communication is to vital, is because the people around us can only go by our words & actions. We cannot read minds, we can some times predict, but that is probably not the most efficient form of day to day interaction. Only God knows our true heart, and we keep it literally & figuratively inside... locked away... and hidden from the world. So, we then also carry the weight of communicating our intents with those in our life in order to allow them the opportunity to draw near. Example: If we are closed off from everyone, and we tend to stay guarded, then we are emulating a scared animal in the wild... no one can get close... defenses are Up, distance is maintained, and time is spent trying to figure them out... Now, does that sound like a healthy way to create or maintain a relationship?
Now remember, we are speaking of those who we desire to be in our life. We must always be conscious of our surroundings, as any wild animal would do, but it's the understanding of creating an intimacy, a bond, a connection, and a reciprocal relationship with those we love.
God left Us His word... His inspired word... as an example of open communication. We must continue that relationship personally... He knows our heart, but we must seek His! Just like we must be willing to seek out others... invest, focus, reciprocate, and be willing to pursuit a fruitful, loving, transparent relationship!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Two of a Kind...

On a different note,

I find it interesting how so many people either refute, deny or discredit the idea of "Faith". Like it was so foreign and unorthodox it could never be accepted by human beings. So, let's just throw a thought out there and see if this might help clear up some of the understanding... Everyone in our life has free will, meaning their are only responsible for their own decisions & choices. Not that they can't be considerate of us or others around them, but in reality we cannot see nor control their actions. Example: You have a relationship with someone, and you trust Your significant other or Your spouse. When that person leaves your sight, You are absolutely relying on Faith & Trust in that person that they will be considerate, thoughtful, and FAITHful in regards to You and your relationship... right?
Soooo, maybe this thought of Faith is not all that foreign after all. It seems if society wants to discredit the foundation aspects of believers, but in reality they share the same ones in different context. My relationship with the Lord is based on Honor, Communication, Intimacy, Faith, Trust, Forgiveness, Sacrifice, Adoration, Respect, Love and more... the same as my marriage! So, am I that crazy for believing in a God that has shown me Love? That has provided me Grace, Mercy & Forgiveness? Do I see my wife's Love or do I feel it?
We have bought into the carnival that is society and the media. Meaning, we have been watching too much TV and feeding into the "get rich quick", or "Knight in shining Armor Romance" stories... a false representation of what Life really is. For most of us, this life we see on the Big screen isn't realistic, but we still seek it. Thus our perceptions change, our focus changes, our desires change, and so on. It becomes very easy to get caught up in the "ME" of Life... following our personal goals & desires versus putting others first. Material things are temporal and come with baggage. Can we all just agree it is our relationships that fulfill our lives! It is my Wife, My Kids, my Friends, My Family that bring me Joy... and it is for sure the Lord that provides for me in abundance! It isn't what car I drive, it isn't how big my house is, and it doesn't come when I am self serving!
I find more happiness in providing for my family, spending quality time with them... and sharing LOVE with all the people I come in contact with... THAT is everything for me! I am fortunate to do Music, and that is my platform for sharing LOVE with any & everyone! There are No words to describe the thankfulness I have in that... God knew Me, my value, my gifts and uses them to fulfill ME and those around me!
Maybe us believers are Not all that different! Maybe if we all sought to coexist we'd be able to share in the Love, Hope, Joy and Fulfillment!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Who are You?

On a different note,

When someone approaches you and asks what You do for a living, that's typically a pretty easy, clear, and defined answer. At least to ourselves and probably pretty clear to those around us. It's something we should be very comfortable talking about, as it is truly takes up the majority of ours lives. And those in our life could & should probably be able to answer the question for us. But for someone who didn't know us, at first they will take it for face value... We could be an architect, musician, artist, doctor, or nurse at the initial moment. But at some point we'll have to back that up!
If someone tells you that they are a Doctor, you might ask which hospital they work at... If they say they are an Teacher, you might ask which school they work at... or if they are an artist, what type of works have them accomplished and in what style... You see anyone can say their "Do" something or "Are" something, but at some point there has got to be some supporting evidence. So, the inquiry most likely continues... they might get in to specifics on the occupation... trying to gauge some type of understanding. Let's be honest, we're all trying to break it down to a level We can understand! So, if I am talking with a astronaut I would typically associate it with someone I know... "Oh Yeah, I've seen Star Wars...Loved it!"... This is also were the rubber hits the road.... Example: If I say I am a musician, they may ask what kind? "Singer"... Oh cool, do you sing in a band? "No"... Do you have any Original pieces? "No"... Did you go to school for it? "No"... You see my trend... meaning, people at that point would be skeptical, as there is nothing to back up the previous statement... and do I claim something that I have no true knowledge or experience in?
If I do not help sick people, am I a doctor? If I do not Deliver mail, am I a mailman? You see my point here... maybe in general terms, it is our day to day life that truly defines who we are versus us claiming a title by happenstance?
This was an example of a daily occurrence that happens in various areas of our life. It is something we all see and have probably been through. I will say this came to my mind this morning when thinking of my spiritual walk. Am I claiming to be a Christian, or is my life reflecting it as such? In my younger years, I said I believed in God but didn't know anything about Him... I didn't share Him or even try and emulate Him. This is Not to judge, call out, or persecute those who claim any title from my perspective... Just a thought provoking scenario. One I have to ask myself! So, whether it's spiritual or just day to day, our actions, our habits, our attitude, our words, and our hearts reflect a much more clear picture of who we are... Are we happy with that result? What can we do to alter that perception? Food for thought!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Outlook...

On a different note,

The power of influence is carried by all... and I know that most don't have any desire to carry that, but we All have it! Some of us just choose to ignore it, or not leverage it. No shame in that, but some times not doing anything is a statement in itself... ponder that for a second! The funny thing is, as long as we have a good foundation, know who we are & want to be, the influence should come naturally. Meaning, it has to be sincere to not have an adverse affect.
You hear me discuss living on purpose quite often... it is making a choice on Who You desire to be, what You desire to reflect, and how You want your live to flow. We do not have the over all control, but we do have free will and choices to make each day. We can choose to get caught up in the weight of circumstances, or choose to feel blessed by the life we have right now! I cannot control any one else, nor can I predict what God has around the corner... I have my choices right now! I have the ability to breath right now! And this is my life to do with as I wish! So, doesn't that stand for something? Are we supposed to fall prey to circumstances we have no control over?
You have a choice... and You do have an opportunity to change the things in your life You feel need changing! You can't look to anyone else, You cannot blame anyone else! You see, that is part of our influence... Our choices! I've meet some incredible people in my life, and they had influence without even trying! I can look back and try to see the common aspects of those moments. I will say there are a few things that stand out... They all were sincere in who they were and how they treated others... they all lived a bit care free, meaning they did not get caught up in the circumstances... they were great communicators and good at seeking the positive & options in life... and lastly, they were All of Faith! I guess the over all sentiment would be "Outlook"!
I am broken, faulty, and wrong every so often...hehehe... But I stand firm in my beliefs, stand firm in my desire to Love & Inspire others, and my understanding of Grace and giving it to others who are just as broken as me! I do not always show a happy face, but I wake up daily with the desire to be who God created me to be! And I choose to be as positive as I can, and make a difference in my family, my friends and the world I touch! YOU CAN DO THIS... My life was fulfilled spiritually, the rest is menial... I hope & pray we ALL find peace, solace, and love on a daily basis!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

What do You Expect?

On a different note,

Most of the time expectations leave us sitting frustrated & empty handed! And I would suggest for most of us to do our best not to put too much on the shoulders of others, as we are just human. But in regards to life in general, I think having expectations could be a driving force in our journey. Let's be honest, you don't typically hear the word in a glowing, wondrous and positive light. It's usually "I expect this of You" or "You have not met the expectations"... etc... But in life, maybe we should have some higher expectations for ourselves!
It's like taking on a new approach or view of it, but instead of seeing the negative it is seeing the power than comes behind it. We know how it feels to have our expectations not met... Well, then shouldn't that drive us to Not want to miss our own expectations? Example: I lived in a studio apartment for a few years, with not a whole lot of furniture, but that was not the way I expected to live for long! You see, so many of us either don't set clear goals or we don't set them as realistic... We either set them Way to high, or at level "Easy"!! We have gotten so used to getting things NOW or Our way, that we forget what it's like to work for something!
We should have expectations for our lives! We should expect more of ourselves and use that to encourage us to reach new levels in life. I look around and see people miserable, frustrated, angry, depressed, and such... and I know EXACTLY how that feels... been there! But I am Not ok with just Average! If we're gonna do it, we ARE GONNA do it!
We forget to stop and evaluate periodically... analyze and review where we are. We get caught up in the "Constant", "Complacent", "Comfortable", "Reactionary" and forget to refocus! Honestly, I truly believe we need to refocus daily, but probably need a self eval every few months. We must re-check our current standings, re-set our focus, and re-charge our batteries in order to reach new heights! Life is Hard for ALL... Work is Not fun for most, but it isn't going to change on it's own! Get out there and meet YOUR expectations!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Extend & Apply...

On a different note,

I can remember being a young man at church... and certain things being said that struck me as odd. I guess at the time I was thinking more rationally versus spiritually. And you know how kids are, things tend to be literal. I would hear phrases or sentiments eluding to "Waiting on the Lord". And trust me when I say, we should be awaiting certain answers and seeking direction. But what I have also learned is, typically that also includes the evaluation and execution on our part. There will be quiet times of focus and replenishment, but in general life is happening whether we like it or not. And a lot of times, maybe it's just me, there are things that I probably should of been doing all along, or at least being conscious of... almost like we can just get off track. What I have learned is that the Lord is typically waiting on Us!
To get a job or promotion, we must "Apply" ourselves... To receive help we must "Extend" ourselves to others... and we also must "Step out" in Faith! Time is passing by, by the second, and we know these lives are only temporary. I believe we can still be progressing in life, refining our daily lives and seeking the Lord for clarity. Those around me have probably heard me speak of the Lord "Re-directing" us... meaning, I extend myself, I apply myself in something of worth and if He desires me else where then He will re-direct me! I must step out of the boat, making choices based on my relationship with Him, based on knowing His plan, based on knowing His goal of sharing LOVE with this world! Meaning, we align ourselves with the Lord, then we begin to emulate and see things through His eyes... previously all we saw was our personal objectives! So, if I extend myself in Love, with purpose & intent, then I am at least bringing worth, purpose, and fruit to my life.
We await His path, His leading, but like the disciples He said to "Go Out" and make fishers of Men... meaning, go out and Live a life of purpose... I will take care of You! "Pick Up Your Cross and Follow Me"... don't let circumstances keep you from a life of worth, don't let doubt and fear keep you from Your Purpose!
My goal is never to offend, or speak for the Lord, but to evoke thoughts and share some of the things the Lord puts on my heart! Life is wide open, many decisions to be made, and many we will probably screw up a little... We have already been given Grace! Get up, dust off, and move forward! The fact that we are seeking His will, His answer, and His path says we are already headed in the right direction! If needed He'll re-direct or move the mountains in front of us!! We just have to extend ourselves to accomplish our goals in this world!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Welcome Home...

On a different note,

Whether it's the prodigal son, whether it's vacation, or just coming back to get some rest... We All need to regroup and recoil back to our home! Our home... our place of  rest.. our place of focus.. and our place of fulfillment! This can be mentally, spiritually, physically and even figuratively! It is a place in our heart, it is a conscious choice of where we allow our walls to come down and seek an opportunity to be replenished!
For me, I have moved many times in my life, so I learned that my Home is no longer specific 4 walls... but a place I have chosen as my place of rest. I can remember living in studio apartments, but still desiring that solace when coming home from work or vacation. Couldn't wait to return to my place of comfort, constant and security. As I got older I began to realize that place had much less to do with the structure... it was a place that I held dear and kept the things important to me. That feeling was even more compounded when I began to enrich my spiritual foundation.
Once I was willing to give my life over to the One who created it, I relinquished the sense of ownership and responsibility to the physical things of this world. I realized that if my spirit, my heart and my sense of security were founded in something solid, dependable and consistent that my life would be much more stable. I am no longer tied to the things of this world, but thankful for the things I have been provided! It truly changes ones perspective... and allows us to find comfort not weight in our day to day lives!
My wife is also a gift I find solace in... and when our life gets crazy, we seek focus time to get re-grounded in our marriage. It is my home also! We are daily making decisions, we are daily having to chase life just to keep up, and a lot of times being reactive to the craziness that is Life!! We need to find rest, we need a stable foundation and we must make the choice to replenish our spiritual & physical supplies.
Doesn't it feel amazing to come home? To walk in to the arms of comfort, security, and familiarity? We need to find that place spiritually, physically & mentally/Emotionally! This will keep us grounded and focused on the things that are truly important! And if You can invest in that spiritual residency, it will allow you the freedom to find it at all times in any location!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Backstage Snapshot...

On a different note,

Well friends, it's Friday!! Typically one could stop right there and have said a mouthful! It has been a week of rest & recovery for me after a very busy performance schedule last week at Bikeweek in Daytona. BIG Love to my family for being supportive & graceful in those trying times. It is a group effort no doubt, and I do not forget what they put into my music career. Couldn't do it without them... wouldn't want to!
It becomes evident at times that the world might have a perception of the music world, or at least the "Show" side of it. It's a pretty incredible thing to see what goes on before, during & after a show from a mechanical, emotional, and organizational perspective. There are so many small aspects that have such an impact on the show the world sees from the front of the stage! I can honestly laugh at myself thinking of how frustrated we can be literally moments before rocking out for a few hours! Let's be honest that it's a bunch of type A guys, so the fact there is strife at times would be par for the course!
You hear the term Chemistry when it comes to bands and music in general. I believe it refers to various areas of the union. Musically all must be lock step and on the same note... literally! But to withstand the trials that come with a Group of people, there must be a lot of grace, love, forgiveness and short term memory! Let me give You a few examples of the little things that could throw off a show... Set List: Someone has to create a list of songs, in order, and factoring in style, tempo, key and such. Batteries: Have the equipment we use is run off batteries, and must be changed each show. Ergo, if we forget batteries, we have a problem Houston!
Those were just a couple examples... minute details that go into us getting onstage and have a Great time with You! I'll say this too... Once that curtain drops, most of the frustration, issues, and whatever fade immediately! Seeing those smiling faces and getting into the music takes us to another place! The little stuff doesn't matter... and we can smile, laugh, and feel Amazing after the show... The lessons this has taught me...
Yes, small issues can have a large impact... Yes, it's Ok to get fired up and concerned about your Product and the things that have an affect on your life... Yes, we MUST give Grace in order to co-exist as we ALL have our Moments! And Yes, have short term memory as it will serve you well to Not carry the weight of this world very long!
I am beyond blessed & thankful to be performing, singing and writing music!! Not a day goes by that I don't that the Lord for this incredible gift & opportunity! Hopefully for some of You this was at least informational.. maybe even comical! Trust me, it is funny at times!! We take ourselves WAY to seriously! HEHEHE

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

St. Patrick's story...

On a different note,

The lore of St. Patrick stems from a boy kidnapped and brought to Ireland only to find the Lord during this time. As an adult, he became a priest to serve the Lord and converted many of the Irish people to Christianity. Of course we know the green came from the Shamrock, but what an interesting underlying story. That when one is Lost, they became found... that in the midst of heartache, they find fulfillment. I would venture to say, this is the story for most of us!
So, in theory... St. Patrick was at a place of desperation, loneliness, and probably feeling without options. He was in a strange land, taken by force, and realistically no clue as to how to get home. I can tell you, I felt this very same way when I found the Lord. For most of us, when we are strong, successful, or life is going well we tend to forget our blessings... we disregard the leading of the Lord cause "We got this!". Couple that with free will and you have a recipe for a disaster waiting to happen. Pride before the fall they say!
The Lord is always with us... waiting on Us... allowing us freedom to choose our own path. So, He waits.. til we fall... for some like me, over & over! Until we finally look up and seek Him, His Intercession, and His Love, Grace & Mercy! So, we are all similar to St. Patrick by way of getting to the end of our rope... realizing there is but once source, one answer and one solution! Whether someone is in jail, kidnapped, or just feeling the weight of this lonely world... the Lord is there and He provides fulfillment!
So, I applaud the celebration of this Journey... too bad most have never heard this story. As I believe it to be quite pertinent to the lot of us these days. We ALL will endure such trials, and hopefully we'll all end at the same conclusion! I was Lost, but now I am found!! I know it was my pride that kept me from finding the Lord sooner! I have Yet to look back and regret my path of Faith! I pray for those that are still lost, and enduring incredible trials... I pray they find clarity & enlightenment, and thus making a dark place bright!

Good day & God Bless... oh, and Happy St. Patty's day!
Ch
