Start Today...

On a different note,

The last day of the year and we are all looking forward in hope, faith, trust and expectations. Hopefully we are pondering the next steps in our life, the goals that might be fruitful and the opportunities that would be rewarding. The unfortunate thing is we cannot see into the future, so the reflection is most likely short lived. Reality is that we must navigate today!! BUT, I come to You with good tidings... Although we shouldn't get stuck in the rear view mirror, it can be used to start new chapters in our lives!
For me, I can look back and see God's hand in my life... and that includes the trials and lessons learned! Society & the media make it seem like we are supposed to have perfect lives like the Kardashians. This of course isn't reality, and they do not have perfect lives either! We should all be able to look back and see the rewards of our efforts, the growth through trials, the learning's, the Victories, and hopefully the blessings!
I'm not saying you gotta be overly excited about a tough year, but I am saying that we have today, we can make changes, and we actually woke up today! It seems we so easily forget our blessings and the opportunity each day brings!
I look back and see God directing my life... I see these incredible journey's, choices, and paths that I took... some led by me, others re-directed by the Lord. It's such an awesome feeling! TO recognize and be conscious of intercession is a gift in itself. When You know You are aligned with the Creator, it is a fulfilling feeling! I know in my heart I am Not alone, and that what ever this year brings I will go with a Protector!
We must make the choice to take control of our lives, stop waiting for destiny and seek it out! This year will consist of ups & downs, but Life still goes on! You can sit and wait, and miss out on the opportunities to be productive... or You can set realistic goals that will inspire, fulfill, and reflect in the world You live! WHY NOT YOU!
We are ALL created equal... every action there is a reaction... no such thing as luck... no such thing as perfect... No one lives a perfect life... OK, so now we have those out of the way, What are We gonna do this Year?!?! I wish You more love in your heart... I wish You favor & intercession... I wish Your prayers answered... and I hope You align your life with the One who can actually fulfill Your dreams! Happy New Year!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Language of the People...

On a different note,

Being a lyricist, words have taken on an entirely new importance to me... When I write, there is a message behind it, thus it requires more thought and specificity. Meaning, if I am writing a song, I need to make sure the sentiment is conveyed for the listener, else I might jeopardize the connection to my listener. And in that case, why bother?
Even in my Blog I must be sure of the context I am writing... I can't tell you how many times I write a phrase, only to delete it after re-reading it. Because as the the sender, it is my responsibility to make sure the receivers can comprehend the message. I see all to often people being frustrated in their communications, and maybe it's just our ability to communicate with certain people... like we're not on the same page. Trust me when I say, it is a skill set that warrants time, effort, and focus. Think about it, Good listeners are hard to find... that's not a dig on anyone, but a reflection of the focus it takes to be a good listener. I've noticed that people are either good at giving or receiving information in general... but being good at both is not quite so easy. My wife and I have spent many hours discussing our interaction, delivery and communication... We know that each must be willing to give & receive for it to be reciprocal dialogue.
I continually state to Live on Purpose, so this is one of the biggest areas we should focus on. Who are You, What do You believe, and how can You deliver it without offending, persecuting, condemning, or alienating everyone around You? Tell me that doesn't seem BIG!?!?! I have also learned Not everything needs to be shared... or maybe not at specific times... There is a military term called "Situational Awareness" which lends itself perfectly to this scenario. We as the senders need to be conscious of our surroundings, of the people we are engaging, and of the topics which are typically more black & white. Are we speaking in first person, are we pointing fingers, are we being destructive, or are we just sharing some Love!?
You have a Voice, thus it is your responsibility to own it and use it to Lift up others, encourage, speak life not destruction into the world we live. Take responsibility in making sure you are clear and empathetic, and be cognoscente of the receiver and their possible fragility. I am my brothers keeper!!
Communication is one of the key elements in our Life... It deserves focus & effort! We create intimacy, closeness, understanding and unity by being open, honest, clear, and precise in our dialogue! Speak LIFE, Live on purpose!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Resolutions...

On a different note,

Well, the New Year is upon us... the Holiday season comes to a close and the new year begins... The anticipation fades, and the yearly Monday happens...Hehehe... We start over, and I think there is a period of time which we are a bit lost or hesitant. I'm sure this is how resolutions became... a way for people to focus, get on track with the new year and seek ways to make changes for the better. Maybe it's just me, but there is always a cloudy period in January, trying to set goals, paths and objectives. I'm sure growing up in the Northeast didn't help... everyone by January was OVER it being winter. As I've said about the Holiday season in general, it should be a year long sentiment... and as far as the new year, nothing has changed but the seasons. We are goal orientated people... so, New Years is a proverbial "Start Over"... which I find healthy in some aspects... I mean, let's be honest... Whatever it takes to spark some excitement, energy and accomplishment!!
What should we accomplish this year? What can we accomplish this year? and what will we realistically accomplish this year? How about this month? The things which will make us feel like we've actually reached a milestone typically take planning... We should have a running list of things to do... All year long! Home improvements, Vacations, Education, Spiritual growth, Family bonding, etc... Trust me, life is moving 1 second at a time regardless of our intentions!! So, WE must live on purpose to avoid getting into the lulls & complacency of this life!
Take your time... make a list of things You should, need and want to accomplish... there is a difference!! Prioritize them... write out steps needed to accomplish them... and make sure they are realistic & achievable! I'd personally love to climb Mount Everest or one of those... but right now in my life, that is not realistic! You see, if we don't set TRUE goals, we will feel defeated when "1. Fly Around the world!" doesn't happen!!

I pray daily for the Lord to lead & intercede in my life... and I also ask Him to direct me and My objectives! If I am not in line with the path He laid out for me, PLEASE redirect me! The is power in aligning your life with His plan! I ask this in truth, honesty, transparency! If I set goals only based on my personal desires, then I must carry it entirely! Boy, wouldn't it be nice to have some support from above?

Happy New Year, may Your goals & dreams be furthered this coming year! I pray for strength in trials, and LOVE in your hearts!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Christmas Year Round...

On a different note,

Well, it is the day after... after Christmas that is!! What a Joyous time... giving, receiving, family, friends, love and sacrifice!! The exact message Jesus shared with those around Him! Think about it... He wants to be part of Your family! He wants to be Your best friend!! Seems a bit comical, but not when You break it down!! What an honor and opportunity we ALL have!!
Even the giving & receiving falls in line... We give to others and He provides for us... It's a win win!! We put our focus on Him, focus on being a steward of the things He has provided, and He'll continue to invest & intercede! Pretty incredible relationship right there... and we ALL have this opportunity!
And is there a better example of Love... Unconditional Love that is!! No judgement, No condemnation, No worldly standards being mixed in... Pure Love!! Aren't we all seeking, desiring and needing that level of friendship in our life? So often the Lord is considered untouchable! There is a difference between maintaining taking advantage of His love and/or seeking Him out giving the adoration worthy of such a Loving Father! We definitely should approach Him with Respect, Honor, Reverence, thus giving Him the Glory He is so worthy of!
So, we have a provider who seeks to spend intimate time with Us, be part of our daily lives, and guide us to be loving members of society! Isn't this something that should be celebrated daily? Isn't this something that should be acknowledged often? trust me, I am not going against the Holiday Season... Contrary, I think it should be extended!!
We have a Friend in Jesus... He is a provider of ALL things we need to have a fulfilling life! We must choose to seek Him, emulate Him, and share His Glory with the world around us!! Let's carry the CHRISTmas spirit year round!! I pray You all had a Merry Christmas, and that this coming year is fruitful, rewarding and LOVE filled!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Divine Alignment...

On a different note,

Recently I have had a few friends of mine reach out and share personal experiences in regards to my music. It was such an over whelming feeling... gratitude, humility, excitement, and truly not really knowing how to respond. It filled my heart with a sense of accomplishment from an artistic perspective, but also a sense of fulfillment... one of the the work put into it, the desire to create something of worth, and really the biggest aspect would be the alignment of my path and the one set out for me. There is a different understanding and acceptance when You know You are on track! Destiny for a lake of a better word...
For most of my life, I lived a life of personal focus, personal goals and strictly personal responsibility. Not really being as concerned with others input, or the path God had laid out for me... one with fruitfulness, prosperity, enlightenment, growth, and accountability. Trust me, this path hasn't been an easy one, and has taken much sacrifice, trials, and internal vulnerability. But as my faith grew, I was willing to open up even more!! And Your Faith grows when it is tested...
The interesting thing about going through the fire, is that your perspective changes... your priorities change... so, the person you were previously would never of with stood, but when You have Faith the weight becomes shared. I can battle this world now because I'm not alone!! I can endure trials of my destiny, because it's Not my plan to begin with! Divine Alignment... Meaning, you make the choice to seek the Provider...allowing Him to lead, but also Intercede!! Like He's your spiritual sponsor!!!
10 or so years in music now, I am Still humbled at the production... meaning, I am still in awe at what comes of it... Why? How? Because it's Not about me, not OF me... I am just the luckiest guy on earth to be the one He's chosen... and as long as I reciprocate and choose Him back, the rest is His to own! Success is not going to be measured by worldly standards, but by the impact my life has in the world I live!

I am so thankful for my friends, fans, family, and ALL the people I encounter... Thank You Jesus for my Life... Give me the strength, ability, vision, and focus to continue to cherish it!

Good Day & God Bless,
Chris

Last Minute...

On a different note,

Well, we have 2 more shopping days til Christmas... are You ready? hehe... This time of year I am reminded of how I am a pressure scenario type guy... I'm sure when I was younger it wasn't always as such, but I've been grown into it. I can remember playing football back in the day, and being the "Go to" guy at the end of the guy or in an important situation... also, being in the military provides you practice and training in being responsive. So, of course this is ideal for the Christmas season... In and Out, check your list... before You go, and make it happen!!
It is quite interesting how some of us might have this ability, and others are so good at planning out and buying Christmas presents months before the holidays. Kudos to them!! I am envious in certain aspects... but nevertheless It tis what it tis!! I have to remind myself these things, as it is human nature to impose our expectations, thoughts, and desires on others. We all venture through life the best we can, and hopefully pick up some wisdom & understanding along the way. God provides us a path, hurdles, trials, victories and lessons which help build us into our own person. Pretty neat if you ask me...
The key is to do enough self analyzing and evaluating to see the characteristics! To truly understand how we operate within our own skin allows us the opportunity to be fruitful in our endeavors! Example: If I know I am the type of does Not do well in pressure situations, then I probably shouldn't wait til Christmas eve to do my shopping... Why? because I would probably be stressed out, not enjoy it, or possibly even accomplish the underlying goal!
I know ME well enough to understand what is going to be fruitful for me, and what things may not. Being a last minute person or not, neither way is right or wrong... It's what is right for YOU! Take the time to understand your strong suits, and weaknesses... Oh, and time is of the essence... so, don't wait til the last minute! Hehehe... Be productive, be fruitful, Live on purpose and be the best YOU that you can be!

Merry Christmas to You and Yours... Much Love, peace, Grace, Forgiveness, to You all!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Tis the Season...

On a different note,

Oh the joys of parenting... no seriously! hehehe... I am filled with Love & Joy today simply by seeing a smile on my sons face! There is something special about seeing the ones You love Happy! It's something I've expressed many times, I'm just not sure people truly comprehend! I make the statement "Giving is much more fulfilling than receiving" and I truly mean it!
I guess trying to express the thought of choosing to give over getting is something lost in translation, but hopefully the sentiment of seeing the ones we Love truly happy will carry some weight. Of course as a parent there is a special bond, vested interest in seeing our Children happy... I think it is something that has spiritual roots as well. It also seems like a hard concept to accept the Love of our creator... Hence we make it seem hoaky, fake, or neglect to dwell on it's impact. We are LOVED like children, we were created in Our Father's image... So He finds fulfillment in seeing us live worthy & fruitful lives! Just like we do with our children!!
Unfortunately society has us believing we need so much more from life... that we must attain and maintain a certain level of material things... Personally I used to feel the same, or could at least empathize with the sentiment. Thankfully in my spiritual Journey and growing relationship with my Savior My desires have changed. I would give up EVERYTHING I have for those I love... I'd do anything to see my Wife, Kids, or Family happy!!
It is something that only comes from a sincere enlightenment and choice to put our own selfish desires aside... trust me, I know it is not easy!! But when does anything of value not come with a personal price? Thus, we must seek out and find the things that bring true joy, fulfillment, and happiness... I am also not denying the initial feeling of receiving, but I speak to the long term and deep down reward to putting others first.. This time of year is a perfect example... the spirit of giving becomes infectious... Love, Selflessness, and Giving is everywhere... If this concept seem odd, then I challenge you to give it a shot!! Find that core happiness in the eyes of your Children... in your spouse... in your friends eyes!! I doubt any present under the tree could compare!!

Good Day & God Bless,
Chris

Small things...

On a different note,

This time of year it seems food becomes a huge part of our culture... I smell cookies, I see candy canes, and the infamous fruit cakes begin to breed! The sweet things in life, the little things that fill our hearts. Please tell me you can reminisce over the first taste of a delicious treat... Mmmm, that first taste resonates in your mouth and seem to touch the very tip of your fingers and toes. We can find such glory in an appreciation of food, in something truly of minimal value. I wonder what it is that allows for such fulfillment?
Do we think it is simply perspective that allows us such freedom, or possibly the expectation based on previous situations? Once we have tasted chocolate, or maybe a few times (like lab rats) we become conditioned to react to its sight. I find life is similar, and it can be quite useful to take advantage of this personality trait. Do we not get conditioned in other areas of our life? Maybe a better term outside of food would be "Habit"... Either way, we tend to be cyclical and routine in our lives... If that's the case, I wonder what other things we have been conditioned to respond to without even realizing it?
You've heard me speak of self awareness and self analysis, and the value and power that comes from understanding. I typically do not partake of sweets, but at times I am tempted because I might be hungry or in the wrong place at the right time. But, I have also learned my weaknesses in this regard, so I can avoid certain things to maintain awareness... I know I am not strong enough to say NO every time, so I must be conscious of those times and act accordingly.
Take the time to learn your triggers, your weak points, and reactions to certain circumstances and gain control over your life! This is not an easy road, but is one filled with wisdom, knowledge, power, and reward! When I began following the Lord, I then began seeing clearly... He shined a light on my path and in my heart, thus allowing me the opportunity to know the Real me! We are creatures of habit, so instead of falling prey, use it to your advantage to live a more controlled life. Sometimes the smallest things can carry the most weight!
Happy Holidays, and enjoy those treats! Many blessings!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Season of Giving...

On a different note,

This time of Year everyone seems to have an easier time sharing some Joy and getting into the giving spirit! It's an infectious time for sure... I wonder though, is it only because of the knowledge of receiving that inspires? And trust me, I'm not stating that to be such a horrible thing, but it sheds a light on the worldly perspective versus one of actual Love and selflessness...
There are things we should be doing every day, not just during birthdays, holidays, vacations, anniversaries, and so on... We tend to lean towards the easiest path, versus choosing to push through our personal hurdles. Think about it, we are so willing to judge, point fingers, and condemn those who do not align with our interpretation of what Life should be. Think about the amount of effort that takes... emotionally, spiritually... there is No reward in that, none!! By calling someone out, or making them feel inferior, it serves no purpose in the core spiritual commandments! We are called to Love God first, and Love thy neighbor as thyself... That should be a constant in our lives, not a situational happenstance.
As easy as it is to find others faults, it comes with baggage and lots of emotional weight, and even repercussions if not done in a graceful manner. Let me ask You... how hard is it to LOVE? How hard is it to give someone a compliment, or a statement of encouragement?!? Imagine if we gave at Christmas cause we truly wanted to see the Joy on someones face and in their heart with NO expectation at All! Not only are we sharing love, we would all be filled with Love, and we'd be creating an infectious, inspirational and Godly wave of personal sacrifice. Loving is clean, Loving is easier, Loving is our very nature, and Love is God!
So, if we are to celebrate something this Christmas season, let's celebrate the gift of Love... Like Jesus, it is reflected in personal sacrifice! Being selfish is hard, and brings much pain, heartache and emptiness... But giving creates a warmth that softens hearts and fills them with Love!!
Choose to Love, Choose to Sacrifice, and Choose to be bigger than the easiest path of ME! Merry Christmas!!

Good day, God Bless,
Chris

Believable...

On a different note,

Ever notice the most influential people just seem to be able to express the things they are truly passionate about? They are able to express their sincere love, belief, and complete dedication to a specific topic. You see, that is the power of testimony... meaning, if we do not truly believe in something, how could we ever influence others to do the same? I remember my days in sales, and after years of learning that specific area I knew it like the back of my hand... I felt very confident in speaking about it, handling questions and addressing any concerns. So, when I spoke on it, it was believable!
We ALL have things which we are experts... Could be music, could be God, could be Star Wars, or even making Chicken Pot Pie... Stop and ponder what it is you feel strongly about... and think of the value that you could provide in this area... Think about if You could pass this on, and enrich others lives in this regard... Influence is a powerful tool... something we ALL need to be conscious of!
Now of course, being an expert on Chicken Pot Pie is probably not going to change someones life...LOL... But, it could change their dinner! But there are things in this world which have a large affect on the better good! There are examples of Love, Faith, Grace and Mercy that could be shared by which to show the world these things are Real, and are still valuable!
When people speak of the Love of the Lord, and the impact He's had in their life... that cannot be taken away from them! Quoting scripture means nothing with out the expression of Love, Grace, Compassion, Empathy, and such! We believe things that are delivered with confidence... and if we think about it, things of importance should Not be wishy washy!
Be a person of Influence.... doesn't mean you need to go change the world like Tony Robbin's... it means having an impact in your family, at your job, in the world you live!! Discover the things you believe it whole heart-idly, and leverage that knowledge and Love! Be believable and put yourself out there!! You Too can change the world you live!!

Good Day, God Bless
Chris

My Own CEO...

On a different note,

Have you ever stopped to ponder the reflection you have in the world around You? Probably not something we typically do, or might not even want to... hehehe... If we look at the representation of corporate America, we see the value and importance of an organizational figure head. Well, even though we may not be the President of the United States, who's to say we don't have an even bigger impact on our local communities?
So, understanding the impact on the world around us provides us a few things that can help define our daily walk. Think of it like this... What do You think people like Oprah or Bill Gates have to go through on a daily basis? What things must they be focused on, concerned for? So, we'd have to be accountable to out reflection to others around us... we'd have to be accountable to our decisions and our actions... We'd have to be considerate of our relationships, as they are the foundation of our existence... meaning, without our friends, fans, family, and consumers these businesses would be broke... Now I ask... shouldn't we be even slightly concerned with these same things?
Where would we be with out the people around us? Would we gain success with out supporters to be considerate of? Are we not held accountable to our action by those we care for? You see, we have a life... and we are accountable for how it is being cared for, and how it is reflected to those in our lives. I would Not be who or where I am today with out the intimate relationship I have with the Lord... No question... and He has provided me incredible people, opportunities, and I should be conscious and protective of all my blessings!
Now, You and I both know None of us are worthy of being idols... but, we are should be concerned of how we reflect in the world we live! We should also be aware of of our foundation, and be sure and give back to those who provide us true fulfillment! Sooooo, personal accountability will change our daily choices/decisions... being thankful and conscious of those in our life will change how we invest and appreciate those in our vicinity... and we should take our lives serious, living on purpose, and by giving credit where it's due! We are the CEO of our life, how would your company do?

Good day, God Bless,
Chris

Driven by Pain...

On a different note,

Growing up I was a bit clumsy, ended up with a lot of scars and most I didn't even remember getting. I also recall many emotional scars, none unlike what we all endure growing up. The learnings that came from those times has been invaluable, and I am thankful for the Life I've lived... I know I wouldn't be who I am today other wise!
I wonder how many of You would agree with me that pain becomes numb after a while... Meaning, after enduring the pain becomes the norm at times... I think this is common, and would explain a lot of behavioral issues we face as we get older. You see, we forget the weight, heartache, trials, pain, emptiness and unfulfillment that comes in living in this carnal world. We begin to think pain is a way of life... I stand here before you today remembering those times... Wanting it all to end... Not wanting to carry this weight any more!
I remember praying to a God I didn't know for Him to remove me from this Life as I was exhausted! Well, guess what... He did! It was after the anger, I began to allow Love in... I allow clarity, wisdom knowledge & understanding to enter my heart! We cannot hold on to the past but learn from it, and we must be accountable to ourselves in the NOW. Once I took my eyes full of pity of ME, Myself and I, I could then focus on the one who could actually provide and redirect my life! For the first time I wasn't living for pain, but living for a great purpose! My fulfillment wasn't based on the world, but on my spiritual journey!
Pain is a great motivator and catalyst... but if we are grounded in the world, it only becomes a lead weight. Pain reminds us of our need for a Savior... It reminds us how Amazing LOVE is to give & receive. These very trials help us to refine our faith, not get lost in the hate of this world.
I felt like I was alone, I felt I was the only one feeling this way... That "Self" focus only drove me to continue selfish, unhealthy, dysfunctional, and destructive decisions! You are NOT alone, You are Loved, and there IS a bigger purpose for your life! We must let go of the ME, and live for the WE... God has a plan for all of Us, but we must make the choice to seek Him every day!
We are driven by pain... but its our choice of whether we end up face down at the alter, or face down in the dirt!

Good day & God bless,
Chris

The Matrix...

On a different note,

For those of you who have seen the movie "the Matrix" this will be a refresher course... hehehe... I guess for now having the opportunity to live a life not based on the worlds standards, but one birthed in the existence of man; I can see the underlying messages hidden in Faith. We tend to be going so fast, wishing away most of our lives, that we forget to stop and take it all in. There are signs, messages, and road maps all around us, how many of us seek to leverage them?
Let's take Christmas for example... the classic imagery of snow, presents under a tree, and Santa coming down the chimney. White snow... White, of course represents purity, cleanliness, blameless. A mysterious Man who comes down from above, bringing happiness, secret presents, giving us the desires of our hearts. Joy to the World!!! Hmmm, nope... not much in there!
Life becomes a lot less painful when we seek out the creator, designer, and provider... The choice between carrying all the weight, pressures, responsibilities, and repercussions of this self consumed world. I do not speak religion, as most of that is tainted by Man's personal goals & vendetta's. But I do speak to Faith... crying out and seeking the One who provides! I can only speak to it because of what He has done in my heart and in my life. For me, I know live by Faith because I have grown it, honed, tested it, and seen it proven in my heart of hearts! Once I was willing to relinquish my personal desires, my pride, my control, and let Him lead & intercede, things changed drastically. It was like a code was broken... the world because clear, I could see through the pain, heartache, loneliness, and despair!
I began seeing God in everything... I began following and seeing a path much more fruitful than the one I was struggling to navigate. Whether reading the bible, whether seeking fulfillment, whether looking for true Love, it comes from having Trust & Faith in the provider. The signs are there if You are seeking them! Without Faith, they blend in to this dark world... and if we're only living for us, we'll miss em anyway!
I can only share Love and personal experience, but the truth is out there for You to find! Seek the answers, and you will be provided for!! Once You live with Faith in your heart, the matrix of Love will be revealed!! You will seek it for fulfillment, compassion, grace, mercy, forgiveness and guidance!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Like Individuals...

On a different note,

Do You ever wonder why certain things mean more to others? Why certain aspects of a situation have more of an impact? I find it intriguing and interesting, but also pretty neat. We are All so different, yet are also so similar. It is the little things... the certain aspects of who we are that stand out. We can all categorize people on a high level... Introvert, extrovert, pessimist, optimist, etc... but it really is the core pieces of their being that make them an individual.
I think because we are harsh on our selves and have been taught to judge ourselves, it has affected our perceptions. We tend to categorize ourselves with the masses... by parts of our self we don't care for. I think this poor view has a vast affect on society... One that is reflective of the worlds standards versus the loving, gracious and righteous reflection of the Lord. We are created in the image of a King... Creator, Provider, Conqueror... Once we come to a place of humility internally and a place of honoring our God, we can begin to change our perceptions.
Once You know Love... Love not typical in this world... one that does not judge, one that does not hate... Your heart begins to soften, and you also start to release the baggage, shame, guilt and negative feelings that have been burdens. You find fulfillment in true Love, not in expectations. It is then that we can start to Love who we are, Love those around us, and walk with confidence! God has a different view of us... We are His children, we are made in His image, and we have been redeemed... He already paved the way for Us, He already paid the price for us... So, why are we carrying it?
We are all different, but have been created with a same heart... One yearning for Love... One desiring to find a spiritual home... and One with purpose! We all have odd, weird, specific traits & characteristics that make us individuals... But that doesn't change our core needs... It means we are special, and we have something to bring to the table of quality & value! trust me, I know... It is hard to accept these positive identifiers... Its one of my biggest struggles! But I see God working, I see God using people who aren't perfect... but have a heart for giving, and specific gifts & abilities to invest in the world around them!!
Let the Love of the Lord fill your heart and your life, and see what magical things He can do in you, through you, and with You!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Fear Factor...

On a different note,

I remember living most of my early adult life in fear... In fear of nothing living up to society's expectations, not living up to what I expected my life to be based on the world around me, and fear of my internal vulnerability being exposed. What I've learned is that we all have insecurities, we all have issues, we all fall short of the skewed example the world provides, but also the Glory of God. You see by acknowledging our fear, we then provide an opportunity for God to step in and show His power & Love!!
We are a fear driven society... fear of the "Jones's", fear of loss, fear of not getting something, fear of losing our jobs, fear of going to jail, and so on... We are worriers of things we cannot control... Look around You... You will notice fear driving a majority of the processes within our framework. Now, at first though we are then... what for it... Frightened by the transparency, vulnerability, and lack of control this would signify in the fragile world we live. Do we want this world driven by fear? Personally, I think there is some value to it!
Until we have grown to a place of personal reflection and transparency, we are then controlled by fear... this is Not a healthy place to be. But by acknowledging our fear, we then can move to a place of honesty which relinquishes its power. It is now a factor, not the driving force behind our existence!!!
Fear left my heart when I gave my Life to our Creator. He asked for my heart, my life, my focus, and I gave it to Him... over time of course... but then, and Only then did I stop living by false expectations. Only then was I not tied to my fear, but I owned it and was able to use it as a constant reminder of my weakness, true lack of control, and need for a Leader and Provider in my life. So, me being scared of things I cannot control is wasted energy and focus... But by following the path laid out for me spiritually, I then take on clarity, strength, and confidence... a Divine right!
You see, My fear is somewhat still here... a bit different, but here... And it tells Me "Chris, You cannot do this alone!"... "Chris, You do not have the power or ability to make that happen!"... "But, you Know who Does!"
My goals in life are driven by following my Protector, my fear is in my flesh and the daily resistance to Not living by it! What fear shall I have, when I know I have someone carrying my yoke, my future, and my salvation? Fear is OK, as long as You are Not control by it... It is a struggle, a daily battle, but seek Ye who can remove the weight of it!! Let Him worry about those things that He controls!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Welcome Home...

On a different note,

Once You have been brought to a place of humility, it becomes a continual battle within to accept the Grace we've been to blessed to receive. I have made a lot of bad choices, I've hurt so many people, and I continue to be human and err in my day to day walk. I make the choice to allow God to use me, reflect through me, but I do my best to deny credit... I spent most of my adult life screwing things up and most of my spiritual journey dealing with those iniquities. I do not say this as a negative or pessimistic message, but as one of transparency and honesty. Knowing my short comings, failures, and deficiencies allows me the opportunity to let God lead and to provide mercy, grace and empathy to others!
I think we can all put ourselves in the shoes of the Prodigal Son... a story of personal goals, desires and the lure of the world. One which a "good" person goes against what is knowingly a solid, blessed, entitled and fruitful way of life to take part in the exciting, instantly gratifying, and popular path of the worldly. This is something we will all face, and one we're most likely partaking each day... I am! I am willing to admit my pull to the world, but also my Love & Heart for the Lord! My desire to adhere to my pride and carnal nature, but also my desire to serve the Almighty! I have been called many things... hypocrite, sinner, liar, false prophet, etc... to be honest, it didn't bother me in the way you might think... For us Not to know the truth & Love of the Lord weighs on my heart daily! For us to ignore specific messages He's shone, for Us to defy His presence & spirit in our Hearts for our own agenda is heart breaking to me... and Him as well I can only imagine! He IS Love... He Already paid the Price... He desires Our seeking, Calling Out, and Our Focus!! He Wants to carry the weight of this world for Us!!
I come to You today with a message of Love, Hope, Happiness, and Fulfillment... You ready? Can You imagine How Amazing it must of felt for the Prodigal Son to walk up that road, to come Home, to relinquish the shame, guilt, heartache, failure, and unfulfillment of His choices only to find a Celebration in His name!! To know His bad choices were forgiven, were forgotten, and the only thing that mattered was His choice to come Home!!!! Guess what... We should feel the same way when we make the choice to LOVE in our hearts, to Seek the Lord, to Give Him credit for His favor... The fact we are choosing, even if only at times; to Live a Life of Love and Spiritual power... We have a choice, and we will screw it up most of the time... But when we make the choice to Love and put the world behind Us, we then allow our Father to know the joy that comes from Us returning Home! He delights in Us choosing His way over our own!!

Do Not get caught up in the bad choices, but find Peace, Joy, Love and Fulfillment in the ones that Do lead You down the path of righteousness!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Reflect Your Heart...

On a different note,

As I was driving to work this morning... I had a phrase come to mind... "Reflections of the Heart"... Not sure how it came about, as I was actually pondering how odd it was to be listening to Christmas music while looking at green grass with the sun coming up on a warm day. I'm sure it was a thought of having Christmas in my heart, and the warm memories of my childhood in Maine, growing up with snow & cold this time of year. We all attach emotions & feeling to memories... especially sentimental ones!
Reflections of the Heart to me speaks to the truths we know deep in our soul, the sincere emulation of what we truly feel in real in our core. These expressions are the ones that can truly affect our lives and of those around us. When we speak from our heart, when we truly believe in what we are sharing, it has an impact! So often we get caught up, the world takes the lead, and we can get away from the stuff that truly carries meaning!! It is when we forget the power of influence, the power of perception, and the power of personal introspection.
Circumstances can take charge and make us feel defeated, lost, or insignificant. Situations make us feel out of control, but we know certain things to be true in our hearts!! In the times we can truly connect to our inner being and reflect the LOVE, sincerity, honesty, transparency, etc... this allows for fulfillment in our hearts!
I think we get so busy in life we forget the heart can store so much Love... and daily we are refilling it!! It's a small super charged battery of Hope, Happiness, and Passion! So many are scared to open it, to peek inside, and to share it with others!! Maybe those who seem to Not have a heart are just too scared to leverage it!! LOVE is a powerful tool!!
Enjoy the memories, enjoy being sentimental, allow Your heart to a weapon in your fight against hate, anger, jealousy, and selfishness... The Lord gave us a Heart in His image... How cool we can reflect His righteousness to the world we Live!! Happy Holidays!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

For Lease...

On a different note,

I wonder how many people stop to ponder the usage of our lives in the big scheme of things... Meaning, we are technically leasing these lives, but are we truly taking advantage of the situation? I know, it's probably a bit odd... but for a second, remember I didn't make myself... I didn't create life... I didn't chose the who, where, & when... So, I should be thankful for the opportunity to have this Life!!!
If had signed a lease, there would be guidelines, expectations, requirements and a maintenance agreement. Is that really any different then our lives? Since truly spending the time to read the bible and dialogue with God, I have come to view His scriptures as guidelines... it's a road map... A path paved for Us to follow for a fruitful existence. But most of the time we ignore any expectations or requirements and just do as we please... Instead of being considerate of our neighbors, we lives for US... We turn a blind eye to any emotional, spiritual or physical deposits... Choices to Invest in Power, Communication, or Enlightenment... So, are we truly taking advantage of our opportunity to leverage a life bestowed to us?
We have also been provided a maintenance agreement... One with a very robust plan, and much reward. Do we really think we can fix everything on our own? Again, remembering, I didn't create anything... Should we not go back to the Owner, Author, and utilize a lifetime warranty????
We are leasing these lives, and we should be periodically taking time to recall, refocus, and recommit to the guidelines and benefits of the life laid out for us. That when we divert from the plan, this go awry... We make the choice... The landLORD lives upstairs, why don't we call out for help? Ask for requirements & expectations? Why are we not making deposits in the very place our lives were initiated!
Let's stop taking these lives for granted, and let's become good stewards of our daily gifts and opportunities! Let's not waste these years choosing to walk alone, when we have One who says He'll carry the weight!! He desires us to come to Him, seek Him, and focus on HIM...

Guess what!?! Then We get our deposit back!! He will deposit rivers of living water in our lives! Love, Grace, Favor, Blessings, and purpose!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Redeemed...

On a different note,

As we venture this life, it seems the older we get the more debt, baggage, and cynicism we take on. We accumulate throughout our lives, some due to fear of loss, some from sentimental value, and some of monetary value... I will say for me, I am no longer as tied to my belongings as I used to be. It's just stuff, we can't take it with us when we leave this earth. We seem to choose to carry so much... physically, emotionally, spiritually, and I wonder if we've pondered the weight that comes with that?
There is a word that has shown through in my heart today... Redeemed. This word literally means "to buy, or pay off, clear by payment"... It is a word that is reflected in scripture... it is a word which resonates in my heart as I know the feeling in my very soul. I now know the feeling of letting go, the feeling of having someone who carries the weight of my life in His hands. I no longer have to carry the weight of my screw ups, of my worldly worries, or my worldly possessions. See, we choose to hold on to hurt, to failures, to things the world deems valuable. When in reality, we need to value ourselves... and realize our Savior has Already paid the price. Jesus died on the cross that we might be redeemed! That fact cannot be refuted!
I share this not to get into some religious battle, but as a ray of hope... a reminder of Grace... an example of unconditional love!! I went through most of my life constantly reflecting on my heartache, sorrow and deficiencies... I ONLY found value when I chose to draw near Our God! Only then did the world fade, along with it's expectations, judgement, and inequality. Once I found out my value was in the LOVE I am willing to share with the world did I feel fulfillment, purpose, and the weight removed.
Make the choice to relinquish the weight that we carry... it is of No value... Life will continue once we're gone... But what is your legacy? What IS important right now? Do the failures of last week carry any weight in the big picture, can You change them? YOU are of value, regardless of your deficiencies!! We are ALL loved, but are we willing to receive it? How sad, most deny their Provider... they deny the one who can release them from the weight of this world.. the One who ALREADY paid the price!!

You are worth so much more than YOU realize... the cost was paid with a Life... carry the reflection of that kind of Love in your daily lives!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Personal Transparency...

On a different note,

The reality of any given situation relies on personal reflection... I've often stated the fact that we should be honest & transparent with ourselves, which could lead us to a better place of ownership. Though there is No such thing as perfection, that does not mean we don't strive to a higher level of existence. We grow in areas we understand we need growth in... thus, if we only deflect, there is no opportunity for growth in the areas we Truly Need growth in... get it?
Every day we navigate this crazy world made up of selfish, carnal, defensive and strong willed people... ourselves included... So as much as they might not see the impact they have on the world around them, maybe we don't either!! Personal ownership is so important, as it allows for the acknowledgement of responsibility & accountability. So often we do not own our share of the confusion, disregard and self reliance that rules the world around us. So many are only looking out for numero uno!
In the music industry, this of course is one of the main deficiencies. Everyone is looking for money, fame, fast track, and recognition at the cost of others. instead of everyone sharing he load and reward, people are being used in all directions to fulfill personal agendas. If everyone did their part, there is more than enough room at the top for all of us to use our God given gifts!
Most of this lies in the reality of a persons foundation. I am human, I have personal goals, but I also check myself regularly... and seek for ways to lift others up, provide opportunity and share in the Glory of Victories! If only we all could reflect the Love of the Lord... Tis His work in my heart that allows me the presence to put others first... Else, I would do it all myself!! It is a choice, It is an acknowledgment, and it is a gift that we can do for All those around us. Being honest with ourselves... Being honest with who, where and what we are!! Making the choice to put others first, and to take responsibility for our share!!
You do not have to answer to me, and some choose not to answer to God... but You Always have to answer for yourself!!! Make the choice to be transparent with YOU!!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Positively...

On a different note,

We all go through the highs & lows of life, thus it is how we deal with it that actually makes the difference. Each day is a new challenge, a new path to navigate, and an opportunity to strive and persevere. I have noticed over the years once I got into leadership positions, that the ole cliche is true 'Always one in a crowd"... Meaning, there always seemed to be a negative Nelly in the bunch. My response was typically "It is easier to find the negative, why don't You strive to seek the Positive aspects of a situation?".
There are opportunities for inspiration happening all around us! Amazing, beautiful, and wonderful things going on as we speak!! It is our choice to seek those out, versus falling prey to the negative Nelly's that are all around us. We must make the choice to avoid the ruts of pessimism and push through to relish in the warmth of Goodness... Ok, ok... a little mellow dramatic but you get the point! It's so easy to judge, cut down, and over analyze everything... It's in our genes, it's everywhere!! Finding the ugly stuff is so easy... don't You find that odd? That is has become the norm to be cut throat in a world created in Love.
We can make a difference in our lives and those around us by NOT falling into that trap, but to choose each day to enlighten, invest and pass on some Love to others! It will not only change our day, but everyone who is in the vicinity. Just like hiccups, Love is infectious... kindness is infectious... positive words are infectious... Smiling IS infectious!! So, we have to Choose to keep our mind right... to keep things on track... and to pray for the strength, desire and heart to do so!! As we said, it's not always easy and goes against our very carnal nature!
This is just a friendly reminder, this is just a thought to allow our hearts the opportunity to express what is truly in them... Love! Just cause someone else is having a bad day, or chooses to find the hole in the bucket, we can come by and fill it with encouraging, positive, and uplifting thoughts to fill that empty void. And if they don't want it, who cares!?!?! Move on, but at least You weren't dragged down that angry road which in turn affects the rest of your day and All those in your vicinity!
Choose Love, Choose Positive, Choose to put on a Happy face... It's not fake if You truly desire to reflect Love in the world You live over feeding in a demise.

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Thankfulness...

On a different note,

Thanksgiving is this week and I can't help but ponder the things I am so grateful for! My life is so full right now, and I truly FEEL blessed beyond measure. When I gave my life to the Lord I remember hearing/reading of the fulfillment in Christ, but now looking back I had no idea. Not realizing the change and transition that had to happen in my heart and in my life to allow for His intercession. The things I used to find temporary fulfillment in are no longer fulling or even desired in my heart. The Lord has changed my goals, my heart, my desires, my life, my ability to love and be selfless. It's the very reason I can stand firm now and give Him so much credit, glory and honor! The sanctification which happened in my life was not of me... I had no ability to make these incredible changes! I tried!!
Trust me when I say it took years... years of my failing, years of fighting my pride, and years of allowing Him to increase my faith through trials! The more I leaned on Him, the more He worked in my life. I remember pushing through my lack of comfortableness and seeking the strength to push through in scenario's I truly didn't want to be in... and in those moments He always showed up! There are no words to describe the feeling in my heart when He would make His presence known! In times I wanted to run, but wanted to do the right thing; He'd show up and let me know it's wasn't in my power but His!
I deflect any goodness I am able to put forth, as I know where I've come from!! I see the work He did and does continually in my life!! I see His hand in ALL areas of my life... I see Him opening the door for music, I see His hand in the midst of a divorce, I see His love in my family and I see the incredible changes He has done in my heart! Thankfulness is something I feel daily... And I almost feel bad because of not having a better way of showing gratitude!
Lord, You have changed my life, You have drawn Me in, and You have provided me the opportunities to share Your love with my surroundings!!! You have provided an opportunity to be the Man, the husband and servant You would have me be! I am So fortunate to be able to LOVE and share my heart with the world through your word and music!! Thank You!!
Thanksgiving comes everyday in our hearts once we acknowledge His work in our lives... if not, we should truly evaluate our next steps! He's waited for Us to call Him in!!! Just ask Him!!!

Good Day & God Bless,
Chris

Friend Network...

On a different note,

How often we go through this life, feeling the weight of the world and going in to survivor mode. For some that's flight, or some it's retracting, and for others it's lashing out. We are taught from birth to be self sufficient, to adapt, to evolve, and so on to account for the valley's & mountains we'll endure on this terrain called Life!
I would imagine most people go through a growth period as they mature and get ready to take on the world independently. We have friends & people around us who at the time seemed harmless, but we're probably not the best influence or support systems. But we learn... we make choices to surround ourselves with true friends... Well, mostly!!
We are made in the image of our Father in Heaven... One of Love, Sacrifice, Investment, and Reciprocation. This should also be the way we treat those around us! We should be the hands & feet of our Lord... doing His work here on earth, in the surroundings we've been made stewards of... We ALSO need to be willing to receive this gift, which for me was always a little harder. Our pride gets us into more trouble then we even realize. We think "I got this" and disregard the gift of fellowship... the gift of sincere friends put there to be our shoulder to cry on!!
It took me many years, it took the LOVE of the Lord for me to start to allow the relinquishing of my pride... which opened the doors to a support system. This also meant the use of wisdom in allowing people into my life. There is a difference between letting everyone into your immediate circle, and Loving on Everyone you come in contact with. We can support, encourage and love the body, but we should also discern our steps we take and be selective and protective of our hearts. Scripture speaks to uneven yokes, which refers to being brought down by those around us who do not discern their steps, or are not able to be sacrificial, reciprocal, or willing to invest. We are called to Love, we are called to lift up the body, but we are also called to be wise & weary...
Allow the gift of love in your times of need... Allow God to work in you and for You! Be conscious and purposeful in your walk, and reap the fruit of loving & reciprocated relationships!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Artist at Work...

On a different note,

As an artist, one who desires to create and have others feel, receive and empathize with the passion and sentiment of the song, I carry a gratitude for those willing to share this journey. I realize the amount of artists out there, and that each of us has a certain type of music or style we might gravitate to. For me, it is an honor to have people choose to listen to my music... humbling, and some what surprising in all honesty. We are typically our own worst critics, thus it is harder to accept certain aspects of the larger picture.
It is quite interesting when You think about it, as an artist creates for themselves, or at least with a personal vision. Yet, the drive is to have people appreciate and comprehend the sentiment or be willing to engage enough to create their own opinion. Not saying all artists need people to appreciate, but it is a form of expression, which typically is a form of communication. There is definitely a level of transparency, intimacy, and vulnerability to be willing to put your creations on display. I personally have known artists who may never share their art... for fear of rejection, or weight of insecurities.
I wonder how often artists forget they are fans too! That if they didn't love art themselves, they wouldn't desire to do it... Interesting! It's that acknowledgement that should allow the appreciation of the ones those support, encourage, & engage! I often have to remind my wife that because she paints, and has displayed her art in galleries, that she is an artist... she is a painter! To me there is a level of sincerity & honesty in creating for the Love of art, expression and creation. For me, I so enjoy singing & writing music, that I am not overly caught up in whether my music makes money... I so enjoy the process and result of my creations, it fills me beyond measure. Knowing this is the path God has for me, this is the gift He has provided me... the ability to sing and create music... and maybe even having an affect on those who hear it! There is power in that, which comes with responsibility.
For me, as an artists, I recognize it as a platform, but also a reflection of who I am. Years ago, I might not of had the fortitude, strength or desire to create from the Love in my heart. Not sure I would of had the ability or drive to do so... but God had a plan... He has been growing this gift for 10 years in me... It is my honor to be able to share my gift with others!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Navigation...

On a different note,

Driving to work for me is typically an opportunity to be in quiet time with the Lord, but also an opportunity to regain & refocus each day to a more humbled place of allow God to lead. I am a fast paced, high energy, and typically impatient while driving depending on circumstances. So, to relinquish the emotional weight that comes with morning traffic is a huge test for me, and an opportunity to truly put perspective on the coming day. Because honestly, it doesn't matter... it doesn't equate to more than a few extra minutes... Of course, I am not naive to the frustration, anger, emotions, and reactions that my carnal self feels in this time. I have seen the Lord change my heart in this regard over the years... because of my willingness to trust Him, let Him guide, and not be so consumed over my personal thoughts, desires, and emotional fluctuation.
But today, and even bigger revelation became clear to me... Just like life, we tend to have a path, or a plan thus we are raised  to be self sufficient and go get it! This is the worldly way... if You see an opportunity, take it! But in choosing to walk in the path chosen and provided by the Lord, we are taught to follow... allow Him the opportunity to open & close doors, intercede and clarify the situation.
SO, as I was driving it became clear that I was always looking up ahead in traffic, seeing opportunities that I believed I could achieve. Thus, I was circumventing any leading of the Lord, and not allowing Him to actually be my co-pilot. If I focused on the vehicle in front of me, not down the road, it made it easier to not get emotionally connected to the future state I had no control over. It was a reminder for me, that I must focus on Him, allow Him to lead, and be conscious of my personal plan, desires, and vendettas.
Saying we want Him to lead is much different than actually allowing Him to intercede! We must daily make the choice to let Him be our focus, and to not allow our personal desire cloud our judgement, goals, or reactions. This doesn't mean we don't plan for the future, it means we seek Him to guidance and clarity... Every day... This will change our outlook, focus, and heart for our walk thru this crazy world!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Founded...

On a different note,

For a guy who grew up moving quite often, it's such a blessing now to have a home... I have created roots where I am now, and it feels amazing! For most of my life, I have been willing, able and ready to go where ever I felt led. I will say that it took it's toll, and as the years rolled by it created a sense of emptiness & loneliness. What I didn't realize was it wasn't the physical moving that was the problem, it was the foundational aspect of my life. I wasn't grounded!
Whether it be our decisions, our relationships, or even building a tower, it all depends on the foundation. If You do not create a secure basis for your life, you will then fall prey to the ebb & flow of life... as I did... Which made me an emotional wreck! I don't need to preach to everyone in this regard, but We ALL must do our soul searching. To establish the basis for our lives and how things will be handled moving forward. My life, My faith is rooted in created an intimate relationship with God, thus now I can find peace, security in knowing He is in control. For so many years, I lived for me... Ergo, I am an emotional being thus being led by a "Feeling" versus truth. Wake up in a bad mood, You might quit your job, quit a relationship, or even worse. Being rooted allows for replenishment, enlightenment, and consistency.
If I am always ready to GO, then my decisions will be affected accordingly. I will not ever 100% commit, for fear of it keeping me in one place. My decisions will also not be repeatable or consistent as I am basing most of them off my emotional state... which we know changes like the wind! At that point we've become an emotional nomad!
We have been created to live a life on purpose, with purpose and for a purpose! Else we're lost and seeking the next temporary fulfillment. But if we find roots, and create committed relationships we are then part of a larger body. One of love, sharing, unity, and support! Our choices & decisions are no longer random, but are founded with understanding! My life is rooted in the Lord, my wife, and my family & friends!! I could reside in Florida or Siberia, but my foundation is established!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

TGIM...

On a different note,

I wonder if Monday mornings are so terrible because of typical circumstances in our lives. Example, most people aren't doing a job they enjoy. Example, since they are not happy at work, the wknd becomes a free for all which comes with physical and emotion recourse. So many people in this world are in situations that only take away from the joy in their lives, versus enriching their lives and those around them. I would venture to guess its probably hard for most of us to determine what would be gratifying and fulfilling. Or we just haven't taken the time to create a road map to achieve said goal. Or maybe work has nothing to do with it... and it's the filling of our hearts that truly provides us satisfaction.
I'm not sure how fulfilling a job could truly be for most, unless we are truly ready to open our hearts to things of worth. So often we are stuck on the quick & temporary things in life, that it makes the stuff of worth seem  mundane. If I can get it Now, why would I want to work for it? If I have a job, why would I work to get a better one? If I'm already married, why would I work on pursuing that other person still?
If we are seeking fulfillment from the world, or it's standards we will be let down every time. We should be seeking to create foundational decisions, which lead to long term enrichment. I know that spiritually I am grounded, which has changed my entire life. I no longer rely on worldly things to fill my heart, but allow the Provider the opportunity to give me sincere, lasting, and fruitful nourishment.
We have been fooled by this world into thinking we can get rich quick, get healthy quick, and that we should be living for NOW and for ME! None of these things are true or prosperous! When we are willing to take the time to invest, there will be fruit! Whether a job, a marriage, spiritual relationship, friendships, etc all come with a price.... Sacrifice!
If your wishing away 5 days of your week to find empty fulfillment on the wknd, You might want to re-evaluate. Each day we are blessed with Life & Opportunity... We have influence in our lives, and maybe God has us somewhere that He needs our willingness to do His work. I wasted most of my life self seeking, self fulfilling in this world, only to be empty! If You feel like you're going no where fast, You might want to look outside the world for your fulfillment! He's waiting for you!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

My Legacy...

On a different note,

It's an interesting conundrum to be in for all us in contemplating our legacy. How will we be remembered, if we're remembered at all. I'm not even sure this is an important aspect for most... for me, it is the revelation and acknowledgement of living on purpose that leads me to ponder what I leave behind.
I think it is common for us all to think of our success and whether we have achieved it. Success or "making it" is a focal point for most, and I'm sure it weighs in the balance of how the world would perceive success. I have in recent years challenged myself not to compare against the worlds standards, but to what is truly important in this life. I know the Lord has changed my heart in that regard, as well as my desires in general. Prior I desired the Things in life, the titles, and the clout that came with it. My worth was based on the accumulation of worldly importance. Needless to say, this was fruitless, and led me into bondage, financial weight & troubles, and an empty life riddled with the fear of missing out and/or always seeking the next temporary "feel good".
One of the many signs God has shown me in life has been the understanding of priorities based on not temporal or worldly standard, but on the things which truly evoke change. Meaning, when I aligned my life to His path, His road map, and His goal in the beginning I saw a change... and I gained a fulfillment I'd never known. All of a sudden the things I'd accumulated we're gone, and I felt more relief then heartache. Didn't make sense in the world, but in the Lord it made perfect sense!
Once You know true love, a love that is unconditional, You cannot return to the empty, unfulfilled, and fruitless ways of self fulfillment. My personal goals, unless aligned with His; became frivolous and honestly lost all value. My personal successes seemed trivial and selfish... I'm not going to sit here and claim all my desires are Godly, but I will say My goal each day it to seek, follow, share the Love of my Savior! This is my dream... to live a life of lifting others, inspiring others and giving out as much love as I possibly can! The rest will pale in comparison!!
Live & Love with purpose... with drive... with desire... and let this be your reputation!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Good enough...

On a different note,

Since we know life is typically an up hill battle, that would elude to knowing it takes effort to push anything through to completion! Meaning, life is work and is gonna throw us some hills, hurdles and heart aches... But that doesn't mean we stop, it just means we push harder or redirect our efforts! I guess the magical question is how bad do you want it? Value is relative to the person asking the question!!!
Part of my work responsibilities include quality control, thus level of quality is more prevalent to me I suppose. I often wonder if someone people ask this question at all...LOL... This is not to be derogatory but to beg the question, is this good enough for you? Is this the level you expected, perceived, or envisioned? To me, if You're gonna do it, do it right!
I remember in years past doing things and knowing deep in my heart it wasn't my best... At that point my personal question should of been Why? Why am I doing this if my desire isn't to do my best? My time is so valuable, that I could put efforts in other areas versus wasting my time or others. I think we all go through these feelings, wondering where we should be... what should we be doing which can provide some type of value or fulfillment. The thought is to be conscious of our daily lives... our choices... our time...
I continually speak to "Living on Purpose", this I suppose is part of that! It's choosing to take on life, and push through trials to achieve a new level of success! It's knowing You are on the path God laid out for you, thus your efforts are not wasted. We live a life of focus, passion, drive, and perseverance! I know God has my back, He has a plan for me, and it's my job to work through the valley's to enjoy the mountain top!
What ever your product is... What ever your output is... Where ever God has you... Put forth effort, exceed worldly expectations!! Success comes from pushing thru to the end and doing your absolute best!! Knowing it was a blessing to even have the opportunity!! Thankful!! Now get out there and LIVE it!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Signs...

On a different note,

I am feeling inspired this morning, encouraged by the relationship I have with the Lord. Not everyday do we hear from Him directly, or feel Godly in our walk, but we always know He is there... And if we are keen to this relationship, we will see Him continually! Even in this, It warms my heart, it fills my soul, and it inspires me to continue to stand firm on the rock!!
We all have the opportunity to be used by God to influence the people around us, as well as allow HIM to intercede and bring forth change in our daily lives using those around us. He brings people in and out of our lives as one body... One accord! To provide, enrich, inspire, refresh, encourage, and so on!! WE must be conscious of this, and see this as the light along our path.
The Lord has me in music, and some days I'm not sure why... or if this is My path not His. My sincere goal in life is to follow Him, and align myself with Him, His path for me, and His goal of sharing LOVE with the world. My desire to fulfill this destiny makes me concerned of my daily walk, and my focus on the right aspects of this journey! So, of course in this, I question ME, my choices, and MY goals... I feel so blessed to receive validation, verification, and acknowledgement in my path... Like a school boy getting confirmation from His teacher!
We cannot predict the future, nor should we... we are called to follow Him, seek Him daily and keep Him as our #1 focus... I find peace, comfort, and fulfillment in knowing He is in control, and I just have to follow Him!! We must take the steps forward... in His direction... We must make the effort to seek Him out... He's promised to provide, re-direct and pave the way for Us if we do!! Look for the signs along His road of salvation!
We must put aside OUR path in order to seek His... we are then able to remove the yoke, and let Him carry it!
Thank You Lord for your continued Love, Intercession, and Influence!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Forgiving...

On a different note,

I know not everyone is created with the same desires, drive, and make up... but we are all created in the same image. Personalities, circumstances, and experiences build us into individuals, and life takes on a new perspective each day based on the path the Lord has created for us. We of course have free will, which helps dictate the journey ahead of us. For many years I carried the weight of being human, of being broken and Imperfect. Daily I felt the weight of my struggles, failures, bad decisions, and selfish choices. I remember the Lord drawing me in, showing me my need for Him, and showing me that the cracks in my cistern were to be filled by His love. It took me many years to allow forgiveness into my heart... meaning allowing God or anyone else to forgive me. The feeling of being unworthy, undeserving, and unfit to receive such love & grace. There is a level of humility that comes from knowing your short comings and them not being turned against You, but brushed aside in mercy.
Forgiveness is a gift, it probably sounds weird to hear it in that context. It is also not quite as easy to receive as it might be to give for some. We are human and constantly reminded of our failures, short comings and inefficiencies. For me, only by getting to know my Savior intimately was I able to see the Love provided to His people which allowed me the opportunity to let go of some harbored insecurities. The world reminds us we're imperfect, but the Lord reminds us He loves us anyway! Instead of being trampled by my sins, pride, and bad choices, I could move forward in forgiveness... and ask those in my life for their mercy.
We can choose to carry the weight of our failure or seek ways to be grow in the path of the Lord, and move past the worldly view of who we are. We can choose not to forgive those around us, but that also involves carrying the weight of our judgement. Forgiveness is a gift that we receive, thus it is also a gift that we can provide... for ourselves and others! We are all broken, faulty, and weak... thus putting expectations of perfection or righteousness would be a futile endeavor. Accept our failures, look for ways to grow in the reflection of the Lord by letting go of worldly comparisons, and receive His Love, Grace & Mercy!

We always have the choice... to seek Him, following Him, emulate Him, and receive Him! Stop letting the weight drag You down... He already paid that price!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Sacrifice by choice...

On a different note,

Sacrifice is something we deal with continually... but it's probably not something we like to choose on a regular basis... Meaning, it takes a focus, commitment, and willingness to make an actual sacrifice. Sacrificing truly goes against our nature, as we are carnal and are lead by our personal motives. This is not to make everyone sound bad, but an honest reflection on who we are as human beings. But this is also what makes the sacrifice so much more powerful! God sent His son, men & women die to protect their countries, and people are willing to sacrifice for dreams on a daily basis. Sacrifice is power!
We are all created equal, in the image of our creator, and this means we have the same opportunities. At least in a Godly manner, we have the same opportunities... to Love, Forgive, Provide Mercy & Grace and to seek the Lord... and yes, to sacrifice for others! It is not easy, it is not normal... but it will change the way our lives prosper. As an artist, if I am not willing to be vulnerable or transparent, my end result might not carry the weight or fulfillment as someone who pours their heart into it! Sacrificing for the Love of your gift!!
This day we celebrate veterans, ones willing to put their life on the line for others. An incredible gift, one of sacrifice, selflessness and servants heart! My father almost gave His life for this country, and I will never forget it! I also served in His foot steps and of My Savior!
Jesus was a servant, and for me that is one of the biggest things I still reflect on in His memory! Each day I seek for ways to emulate Jesus... to give to others, to sacrifice for others, and to put aside my selfish ways! IT'S HARD!! It's Not my nature... but my choice daily is to reflect the Lord in my world.
Be thankful for sacrifices, for the opportunity to sacrifice, and be willing to sacrifice for your gifts! Nothing is free, nothing comes easy, and it is a choice & sacrifice to have influence in this world!

I LOVE You all, and I would be willing to sacrifice for YOU!! Pass it on!

Good day, God Bless & Thank You to the men & women who Serve!!

Rockstars...

On a different note,

I am so thankful to have a giving heart, one without rules or expectations, one reflective of the good Lord above! My heart sincerely desires the world to find love, peace, success, fulfillment, and prosperity. My path has been redirected into music, for which I am grateful! The Lord has a plan for me, and for many years I avoided it! Which really means, I had my own plans! Hehehe... I spent years playing football, coming close to making the NFL, but that dream was just a dream. In that time I physically put my body through the work load, effort, and physical punishment required to play high level tackle football. Imagine if I would have been redirected earlier to music... My body would be much happier now!
As You have seen in my writings, or those that I've actually spoken with, the reality is finding you pre-ordained path... one blessed, one assisted, and one created just for You! The interesting thing is, it could change from our perspective... meaning, it's probably not going to be a straight line. Complacency, stagnant times, and such will require us to be shaken up. But there are gifts & talents awaiting Us... If we're looking!
I so haphazardly use the term "Rockstar" these days, as it is quite amusing to me. My wife and I get a good laugh out of it, as titles and me do not mesh! But, for the sake of being a musician, I play along! The reason I bring this up, is I hope titles are not your only goals. We should be spending our valuable time for bigger reasons than that! We should be seeking the things that provide sincere value to our lives, that are worth giving up the one thing we can't get back... Time!
I can sit here and saw "Stop" and ponder what dreams, ideas, and fantasies are lurking in your heart & mind! Seek them out, see what God might have in store for you! But I also know the reality is we will try many things in life, some will work and some won't. I guess for me, I just never stopped seeking & looking! Life is trials, Life is success & failure... Get back up and keep going!! That is LIFE!! The perseverance, the hope, the fortitude, the vision, the path, and so on!! That's why titles don't carry weight... it is the journey that fulfills!! It's the weight loss on the scale, the ability to play a song on a guitar, the completion of a college degree, and such... YOU can change Your life and the world You live!!
You are a ROCKSTAR, because that is what will resonate in your heart!! Don't let anyone tell You different!! You path is waiting!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Walk away...

On a different note,

What are You willing to walk away from? I am in a place right now of making decisions in this regard, and to be quite honest it's not the first time. I have learned to be very honest and transparent with myself in this life, as we are so good at convincing ourselves what is important. We are self serving by nature, so of course we have an easier time justifying self serving scenarios. What I have learned is power comes from not being tied to the things of this world. That my Love for the Lord is paramount, the rest has been provided by Him. Scripture speaks to idols in our lives, so for me things takes on a more relative meaning in my day to day life. I must be conscious of all that is going on around me, and honest with myself enough to catch it if needed!
I have been asked in the past to make a sacrifice, to remove something that has become bigger or more important than it should be.And in that transparent state, my willingness to relinquish this thing, scenario, or circumstance allowed the Lord to remove the weight and even open new doors. Whether it is the weight of a job, the exhaustion from un-needed choices, or the financial weight of a possession. We must be willing to take the steps to put things in right perspective.
If I truly believe the Lord provides and He has a path for my life, then the circumstances we all deal with become less consuming. I must remind myself to not allow anything to take precedence above the Lord or His plan for my life. If I do, then I am removing Him from the equation, and also giving up the power that comes from His intercession.
We must prioritize our lives, our time, and our focus... otherwise we are living reactionary and thus with no control, power, or fulfillment. This world will take on a life of it's own if we are not conscious, and it will suck the life right out of us. I am willing to walk away from things of my life so that they do not rule, dictate or sway me from the True important aspects I desire. Don't let Life run You, take control and life on Purpose! Allow for blessings, intercession and His hand in your life... He'll help You carry it!!!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Coincidence, I think not...

On a different note,

This weekend it hit me that it has only been 10 years since I decided I wanted to sing. Not a short time, but also not an extended time for the successes I have been blessed with. It's easy for me to look back and see God's hand in my life and in my path. Decisions, out comes, open & closed doors through out. Now, with my first music video coming out this week, it seems even more surreal in these moments. All the years I spent prior at times almost feel some what wasted. Now I know that is not true, but I can't help but wonder. But it is a journey, and we must be prepared for the path laid out for us. I needed to fail on my own, to see the need for the Lord's intercession in my life. I needed to "think" I had a plan all mapped out, only to see if was not truly where I should be. And I needed to be broken and lost to know when I was actually found!
Like my marriage now, as humans we typically need to fail first to savor the sweet taste of victory. Meaning, I needed to know what a bad marriage was like to cherish the incredible one I have now.I appreciate it, I want to respect and protect it! And maybe it's just me, and God knew my personality. He knows I am 150 mph in any given direction... So, he needed to wait for me to relinquish the drivers seat before clearing a path.
You will know when You are in line with the Lord because You will see, feel, and know things that You didn't do. It's a very hard thing to explain, but when it happens you'll know. Like when You are reminded of an old friend, and then that day you run into them in the grocery store or they friend you on FB. The world says random, coincidence, but I saw God!
I am currently accomplishing things I never knew possible, and I am seeing movement in places I have no clue how they came about, but I know my actions, efforts, and focus are allowing the Lord the opportunity to intercede on my behalf! If You are not letting God lead your life, then you have to carry it! You must try and make your own opportunities, create your own successes, and handle the failures by yourself. I will say, I tried it for most of my life with no results, only frustration, depression, emptiness and a lack of true victory!!

We ALL have the opportunity to seek out our creator and to let HIM lead the way! Don't wait til your life has passed you by to savor the sweet LOVE & Victory of righteousness!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Start Now!

On a different note,

If You have one shot, one life, or even one day to fulfill a dream, what would You do? What goals, objectives or ideas have you put off for various reasons? Too old, too expensive, too far, or too late, and the list goes on! Listen, I'm with ya in regards to at times things being stated a little too light for sincere consumption!! Meaning, it's easy to say "Go For it!", but in reality, it's not typically quite that easy. But I will say this, if You haven't taken the time to ponder, analyze and create an initial plan of action, or even a Pro's vs Con's list... then you for sure will never know!
I see believers who are waiting on God, I see people hoping to win the lottery, and I see people who have just plain ole given up! Someone didn't just wake up and build the Statue of Liberty, it took time, years and lots of planning! So, why would something like a 'Dream" for us be any less important? Trust me, we all fail at this in some ways... well most of us! But knowledge is power! Come up with a list, maybe do some preliminary research... I.e. I wanna go to Vegas... How much is airfare? How much are hotels? Are there better times of the year to get seasonal rates? Ok, so now I may have to do some saving, or maybe you drive, or whatever... You can set objectives for your goals, You can plan a time frame, and in that You will feel the victory of just accomplishing your dreams!!
If You don't like You... make some changes, and sincerely commit to them! Eating, working out, sleep habits, etc... If You don't like your job, maybe you need some training or schooling to truly accomplish the change... better start NOW! If You relationship isn't where it needs to be, have you looked in the mirror? Remember, relationships take TWO... Investment, sacrifice and reciprocation! Check YOU first before pointing fingers!
Plan Your life, Plan You days, and Live on Purpose! We ALL must be conscious of time, efforts, investment! Stop putting off the inevitable!! Enjoy this time we have here on this earth!! #TGIF

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Costume idea...

On a different note,

I found it almost fitting to speak of attire on this day of Halloween! BOO! Hehehe... You see, we have the ability to put on a facade in life... We can be happy or sad, we can be uplifting or depressing, and we can be sacrificial or selfish! Let's be honest, we all have craziness brewing inside, but the reflection we have in the world around us carries weight!
I was speaking to my wife last night, thinking back to days past when I lived in a different place, and for sure was in a different place mentally, emotionally & spiritually. I told her how different of a person I was, almost hard to fathom. So, my social capital, my personal influence has been transformed. No longer do I seek the validation of others for my self worth, but look to provide Love to those around me. It is a daily choice I must make to begin the process of even being able to do as such. I am human, ergo I fall prey to emotions which affect my daily walk. So, If I do not choose to "put on a happy face", then realistically I won't!
Just like dressing in a costume, I must choose to do so. We must choose who we want to be... daily! Even hourly! We are faulty, carnal, and selfish by nature, so we definitely need to make the choice to go against that at times in order to be a positive, enriching,  and inspiring influence to our surroundings! It's funny, cause even as I write this part of me feels a lil like I'm promoting a sort of fake-ness. But that's not it at all... It is a realization of our selfish nature, and that for us to change our lives, our world, and our path we must make a conscious decision!
Think about how much effort goes in to choosing a Halloween costume, and the time, preparation and effort to pull off an incredible idea. You made a choice, well thought out, and had to put it into motion! Well, choosing a new path in life will start off by being an effort... but the more You choose to live a certain way, the more it becomes the norm. Shouldn't we choose and desire to be a positive influence in the world we live? Happy Halloween, I hope it is a fun day for all who participate.. and if You don't, that's great too! Enjoy life by choosing the kind of person You want to be! Allow God to lead and transform, and wake up each day with a purposeful mindset! Much Love!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Identity...

On a different note,

I remember being very small, and watching my mother take out her sketch pad and create. She would draw the most amazing things, and she was always quick to share her Love of art. We'd get art supplies at Christmas,  and be encouraged to create during down times (Not watching TV...LOL). It didn't take long for my brother and I to begin expressing ourselves. Whether we were building a go-karts, cabins, drawing or coloring... We seemed to be expressing/creating quite often.
As we venture this life, much time is spent on defining and identifying who we truly are. Seems to be very hard for some people to even get to that point. As you've seen in my writing, I encourage people to begin Now if they haven't already. And to be Ok with stepping out side the box and taking a leap of faith. I also believe it takes time, and that it is something we'll have to seek out and cultivate. We can all look back at pictures of ourselves and say "Oh My, what was I thinking!"... Well, that is how we learn, grow, and prosper. The sad part are some never even try... as human being we easily fall into complacency and routine, which is not all bad. But if we are not pushing ourselves, and growing by choice we become stagnant. We must seek out the Lord, seek out our path, and discover who we are in Him!
My wife Joy had never picked up a paint brush until she was an adult and was willing to step forth and do something different. Something she knew she had inside her. Now she is an accomplished abstract artist, with many accolades in only a few years of painting. Incredible! Why? Cause she was willing to follow her heart, and try something... even if Art wasn't going to be Her thing, she made an effort! 10 years ago or so I made a choice, out of the blue to join a band... No experience, no training, just a desire! Since then I have invested in my craft to the place I am now. Two examples of people stepping out of the box, investing, putting effort and finding a path that was made for us all along!
You will never know your limits until you push them!! You will never know success until you challenge life! And You will never know fulfillment & Love unless YOU seek out the Lord for your sustenance!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Love of Music...

On a different note,

I have come to place in my life which I not only seek the path created for Me, but desire to seek the path God has for me. And it seems the time I am left in awe when I notice the work He is doing in my life. I see things in motion that were started previously, or that I was unaware of in the moment. I find such peace in knowing I am where He wants me. It's also pretty humerus to stop and see that I am now in the category of being a musician. For some reason, I never thought of myself as such... Just a music lover, who loved to sing!!
For me, I am not one for titles... which has also been a part of my sanctification. I do not need to be called anything, I don't need the entitlement that goes with expecting a name. When I was involved in ministry, it was the same way... I am a servant of the Lord, you do not need to call me by a position name. Shoot, I don't even like labels on my water bottles on stage! LOL
I know things are the working of the Lord when they are contrary to the ways of the world. We have been trained to judge by the titles, hierarchy, social status', and so on... If someone doesn't fit the upper echelon of the social order, they are deemed unworthy or not fit for certain circles. As we know, we are all created equal, everyone has their path and gifts to maneuver. Titles lead to entitlement and segregation... and we all know that typically leads to bad news!
So, for me to be an artist, a creator, a performer, singer, and I guess musician... it is a humbling thing to say the least. I LOVE music, I Love sharing my heart, I Love singing, and so on... that is my expression! That allows me the opportunity to share and infuse LOVE into the world! And I give credit to the Lord, because He brought me here... He continues to lead and drag me along...LOL
I feel so fortunate to be where I am at... music or not, I am blessed beyond measure! My desire is for ALL of us to know this Joy!! To find the path made just for us!! I am thankful to know the source!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Tis the Season...

On a different note,

Tis the beginning of the Holiday season, with lots of festive events, holidays and opportunity to show some Love. It is the time of year which most people have the ability to put aside grudges, think of themselves as part of a body of people, and even put others first! It is an indication, reflection and example of how we should be living year round!
Even though this time of year is marred with marketing ploys, considered more of a fiscal windfall; it does seem to have its affect on peoples hearts. One of the biggest lessons I've learned in my walk, is to seek out intent and the reflection of peoples hearts. So in that, this season provides different opportunities to do so.
Whether it's dressing up on Halloween, or spending the day cooking for family, or giving gifts to one another, it's a decision to step outside of the norm... Dressing up for Halloween doesn't typically constitute worshiping the dead or the devil...LOL... Sorry, but this has always been a funny thought to me. Some people just wanna step outside their box once a year and be someone different... is that really a stretch? There are many ways we can find joy in our life... sometimes it's just congregating and finding fellowship with our friends! Just like a Thanksgiving, as we come together and break bread as a group of family & friends who desire to show a sense of unity and thankfulness. And even thought it has become a money making time, Christmas provides traditions, reflection, and opportunity to express Love to those around us. In credible!!
Now, I could of written of the down side in all this... just like everyone else! But, I choose to find the Love in life... find the God in our midst! His concerns are the reflections of our hearts! The expressing of Love to the body! And keeping Him as #1 in our daily lives!! This season just seems to provide more opportunity!
Take this time and cherish the moment with friends, family and loved ones! And see if we can make these aspects habits for the rest of the year!

Good day & God bless!
Chris

Go Forth...

On a different note,

I've heard the term "waiting on God" many times in my life. I'm not sure that blanket statement is fitting for most of the time during our walk. I do believe there are quiet times, and spans we'll spend in the desert like Jesus did... and there will be times of perseverance and being steadfast in our plights. But even in those times, we shouldn't be stagnant or complacent in our seeking out the Lord.
The Bible speaks of opening the door and allowing Him in, it speaks of stepping out in Faith, stepping out of the boat... Actions for Us to take first in Faith which allow Him to intercede on our behalf. Those that know me, know that I am more of a re-direct kind of guy! hehehe... I figure I will seek out the Lord, give Him the credit, Glory, honor and focus, and move forward allowing Him to lead. Now, as I stated before, there are times I will seek an answer or direction from Him prior to making an absolute final decision. But even in those situations I am researching, praying, seeking and looking for His hand in the situation.
Look at it like this... are you prepared for His movement in your life? Would You be ready if He brought you the very thing You ask for? Being a believer is and must be reciprocal... meaning, we have our part, and He does His! We cannot deny Christ 95% of the time, then expect Him to drop a check in your mail box... Not that I haven't seen that! But it's the hope and expectation of His intercession that comes from knowing Him! When You life for Him, then You know what He is capable of... and you also know at times No answer, or No movement is actually an answer all together! In that we must find solace! Cause I will say this... If it is His will, it will happen regardless of our desires. Meaning, we must be moving in His direction, preparing for a journey, possibly a flood, or a feast, or even a miracle! He sent His disciples out to the world, telling them to leave their stuff there, that He would provide for them! Go forth and make believers of men!

Go forth in life, your goals, your dreams and your seeking of the Lord... He'll be right next to You!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris

Punishment...

On a different note,

I have been reminded in the last day or two the weight of even the smallest decisions. The impact just the tiniest choice could make. Without Grace these decisions could be the ruin of Us, our relationships, and those lives of others. It is easy to stand back and assume how we'd handle it, but until You are put in any given situation it's not typically that easy. We are broken, faulty, & selfish by nature... it takes 24/7 focus to counteract this carnality. Which is seemingly an unrealistic task!
The Youtube confessor was sentenced today to 6.5 yrs for killing someone in a drunk driving accident. I've seen stories of people who have run red lights and took the lives of children. I myself was arrested for something I didn't do, but also did not make the best choice in the situation. Split second decisions, some with incredible ramifications. It seems to be society's way to want to take revenge, to refute, to embarrass, to cast out and squash these people. There is no Grace, Love, Forgiveness, Mercy or Understanding provided. There is a difference between punishment and retribution. Jesus was nailed to a cross for sharing the Good News of Salvation. Killed for speaking His heart on something that would be the Greatest gift ever given. We carry that same hatred and desire to hurt each other still today.
For me, the bad decisions I have made, there are many; have led me down the road of understanding Grace. My poor, selfish, & irresponsible decisions have hurt many people. I have seen the wreckage they've caused. We All have to live with our choices... but we all should try and take that into consideration before we bash others for their iniquities.
I've been to death row and saw the heart ache, pain, loneliness, and lowest level of human treatment. Yes, they deserve to be there, and Yes I deserve to reap what I sow, but I also had Grace and empathy in my heart... born of the Love of Christ who died for My sins! Instead of cursing me or judging me, He took the punishment for me that I might know True Love from our Father in Heaven. Again, I'm not saying we let people do as they wish with no repercussions... I'm saying we All make bad decisions, and we ALL should be trying to giving Grace to those around us. I will fail at this, but I know in my heart it is the right way for Us to live!

Good day & God Bless,
Chris
